Hanwha vs LG game day at Jamsil Stadium: cream shrimp, Bingdongdaeng

Hi, this is Coco^^ This time I went to Jamsil Baseball Stadium with my second kid. It was a Hanwha vs. LG game, and the funny part was that I was cheering for Hanwha while my kid was cheering for LG lol. Same stadium, different teams to root for — it doubled the fun of watching the game.

When you go to a baseball stadium, the food is just as exciting as the game itself!!! This time I stopped by Bingdongdaeng Premium Bingsu Café, one of the food trucks at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. True to its name, Bingdongdaeng sells bingsu (shaved ice dessert), but it also had a nice variety of menu items perfect for a quick bite at the stadium haha. Let me introduce it~~^^

Where the Bingdongdaeng food truck is and when it opens

The Bingdongdaeng food truck is easy to spot as soon as you head toward the outfield at Jamsil Baseball Stadium hahaha. Three food trucks are parked together there. It's only open on days when Doosan or LG have a game!! haha

Four orders: hot dog, tteokbokki, cream shrimp, strawberry bingsu

What we ordered at Bingdongdaeng was hot dog, cream shrimp, strawberry snow-ice bingsu, and tteokbokki! I wanted to try a bit of everything at the stadium, so I picked a wide variety of items, and to cut to the chase — it was really good haha.

In particular, what I ate this time ranks among the best food I've had at Jamsil Baseball Stadium!!

The hot dog you can eat with one hand

First, the hot dog! This kind of food is the best for watching a game at the stadium. It's easy to hold with one hand, and it paired really well with beer.

And the tteokbokki had that sweet-and-spicy flavor that's just perfect for stadium food!!! (It's spicy, so skip it if you can't handle spice!) It was great to pick at whenever you got hungry during the game, and it went well with the hot dog too.

My kid ate a bit of everything too, so it was worth ordering such a variety of dishes.

Best of the night: Bingdongdaeng's cream shrimp with beer

What I liked most was Bingdongdaeng's cream shrimp. It was personally my favorite item — the shrimp were plump, and the sauce was smooth and sweet, the kind of flavor that keeps you reaching for more!

Above all, this was truly outstanding with beer haha. Sipping a cold beer at the stadium while picking up piece after piece of cream shrimp — this, I thought, is exactly why you come to a baseball game. I already like cream shrimp normally, but eating it at the stadium, with all that atmosphere added on, made it taste even better. So if I had to pick just one dish to eat again from this trip, it would be the cream shrimp!!

Finishing with strawberry snow-ice bingsu

Last was dessert — Bingdongdaeng's strawberry snow-ice bingsu. Being able to have bingsu even at the stadium was better than I expected haha. The snow-soft ice combined with strawberry toppings made for a sweet way to wrap things up.

After the more heavily seasoned dishes like tteokbokki and cream shrimp, finishing with bingsu felt refreshing on the palate! If you're heading to the stadium with your kid, it's great that you can cover both a meal and dessert in one stop.

What to order next time at Bingdongdaeng

At home, this might just be a hot dog and cream shrimp, but eating it while cheering at the stadium makes it feel so much more special haha. And I realized there aren't many game days left this year at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, which makes me a little sad.ㅜㅜ

The food from Bingdongdaeng Premium Bingsu Café this time was so good that I want to go back to Jamsil Baseball Stadium once more before the year ends. If you're wondering what to eat at the stadium, trying a bit of everything — hot dog, tteokbokki, cream shrimp, and strawberry snow-ice bingsu — sounds like a great idea. Next time, I'll definitely pair the cream shrimp with beer again!!!! Food eaten while watching baseball just hits different. :)
