Daegu café with big parking and quiet 3F window seats: Hands Coffee

I was looking for a café near Dongchon Resort to grab a cool coffee.

I went to Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch. This place is such a large-scale operation that the moment I walked in I thought, "wow, this is really big" — let me show you exactly what I mean.

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort is a large café with a 2nd floor, 3rd floor, and rooftop.

What I loved most about Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch was that the parking lot is really wide! A lot of people drive to the Dongchon Resort area, so not having to circle around looking for a spot made things easy from the start!

Inside Hands Coffee: the 2nd-floor seating

The café space begins from the 2nd floor,

and you can take either the elevator or the stairs.

The first things that caught my eye as soon as I got upstairs were small flower vases, plants, and objets. There was more fun in looking at the little decor pieces than I expected.

Concrete walls, deep wood-tone furniture, and warm lighting came together for an overall calm feel! It had exactly that slightly classic, weighty atmosphere unique to Hands Coffee.

On one side there was a separate display of drip bags, dutch coffee, and tumblers. Looking around the counter, it wasn't just coffee —

there were also plenty of menu items good for eating together, like waffles, bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and brunch. I was already way too full, but looking at the showcase, I was tempted to order a dessert anyway haha.

And as you can tell from the photos, the space was surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows. You could see outside at a glance, so even indoors it felt wide open and refreshing. If you're looking for a café near Dongchon Resort with big floor-to-ceiling windows, this is the one.

After ordering, we took a window seat on the 2nd floor,

but you could hear coffee being made and people coming and going, so wanting somewhere a bit quieter, we moved up to the 3rd floor.

The 3rd floor also had a ton of seating!

The seats weren't packed too tightly, and since the space itself is spacious, it felt less crowded even with people around.

This should suit anyone looking for a spacious café near Dongchon Resort.

There were also good solo seats, so it looked fine for coming alone or for studying at the café.

There were also seats along the window row. I picked out a prime spot close to the floor-to-ceiling glass! Sitting quietly and looking at the green scenery outside the window, I felt a strange sense of ease wash over me ෆ

Too full to eat: just two americanos

That day I'd eaten a really heavy lunch beforehand, and I wanted brunch, dessert, and bingsu at Hands Coffee,

but there was absolutely no room left, so we just ordered two americanos. Being full actually worked out — I sipped my coffee slowly and took in the view to my heart's content. We talked for a long, long time.

If you're eating a meal at Dongchon Resort and looking for a second-round café nearby, or a spot to park your car and rest for a while, this place is perfect. I liked that every floor has plenty of seats so you can pick whatever mood you want — if you want it quiet like me, go to the 3rd floor, and if you want to feel the breezy view firsthand, the rooftop would be great too!
