Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch (분더커피바 현대프리미엄아울렛 송도점) is a café on B1 of the Songdo outlet that sells ice cream lattes (Wunder Gato). I absolutely love lattes with ice cream in them, like Paul Bassett or Baekmidang (which I'm boycotting..) haha. When I went to the Gimpo outlet not long ago, there was only Baekmidang, so I held back my craving, but the Songdo outlet has Wunder Coffee Bar with ice cream lattes, so I went over the weekend.

If you park at the outlet, parking support is available depending on how much you spend. Hours are Mon–Sun 10:30–21:00.

Where is Wunder Coffee Bar in the Songdo outlet?

Wunder Coffee Bar is inside the B1 food court. When you see Gong Cha, keep going further in. I got a little lost at first.. but there are lots of restaurants nearby, so you can eat at one of the outlet's restaurants and then have your café stop inside too. It's a date course where you don't break a sweat..haha.

Wunder Coffee Bar menu, from drinks to kaimak

Besides the ice cream lattes I love, Wunder Coffee Bar has a cream latte series, coffee, and plenty of non-coffee options like juices and ades, and they were also selling the trendy ube drinks. I came after a meal so I didn't order dessert, but this café turns out to be famous for kaimak (clotted cream, the thickened fat layer of milk). Hardly anywhere sells kaimak..haha. It might be worth a try here.

Ordering the Wunder Gato as a half vanilla, half hojicha Mix Gato

Wunder Coffee Bar sells its ice cream latte under the name Wunder Gato haha. I ordered a set that comes with a Wunder Gato and a Wunder Coffee, plus an iced Americano and a cream matcha. Unusually, you can choose between vanilla ice cream and hojicha (roasted green tea) ice cream, or mix them half and half, so I ordered the Mix Gato.

You can also order just the ice cream, so while shopping at the outlet, a cone would be so nice when your mouth gets bored. Surprisingly, Naver Pay works here, so if you have old points sitting around, use them up!

Which oat does Wunder Coffee Bar use for oat lattes?

For oat latte swaps, Wunder Coffee Bar uses Amazing Oat haha. Decaf and oat latte are each +₩1,000. I like Amazing Oat more than Almond Breeze, so if you're having a milk-based drink, I highly recommend trying it swapped to an oat latte!!

Weekend wait time and takeout

It was the weekend, so I expected a long wait, but the drinks came out faster than I thought haha. They packed them neatly in a carrier.

What the Mix Gato with hojicha ice cream tastes like

First, a photo of my Wunder Gato, which looks the tastiest! See the half-and-half ice cream? Matcha and hojicha are so hot right now, and at Wunder Coffee Bar you can try it as hojicha ice cream haha.

Here's a group shot with the cream latte my companion ordered..! My companion stole a bite and said my Wunder Gato was tastier.. so, with a bit of bias, I recommend the Wunder Gato even more.

Is the Wunder Coffee Bar Americano sour?

The Americano was moderately bitter with moderate acidity. I don't like acidic Americanos, but I felt anyone with an easygoing palate would like this coffee without a fuss. Tasty drinks like the cream latte or Wunder Gato get sipped away fast, so we ordered one more each for the long trip out haha.

Cream latte vs. cream matcha: cream matcha next time

I stole a bite of my companion's cream matcha, and I'm voting for it over the cream latte..!!!! The sweet, bittersweet matcha flavor is totally different from ordinary budget franchise coffee shops, so I decided I'll try the cream matcha next time. That's the end of my review of a café with great ice cream and drinks at the Songdo outlet..😗
