Back at Got Dongtan for a work lunch

I went back to Got Dongtan Main Branch (곧 동탄 본점), a Mok-dong, Dongtan restaurant I absolutely loved on my earlier visit! It is the kind of place that makes you want to return once you have been, so this time I came for a work lunch—and once again, it did not disappoint 💛

Where can I park?

Parking around Mok-dong in Dongtan can actually be a bit of a hassle for get-togethers or business appointments because there are not many spaces. But Got Dongtan lets you use the first dedicated lot in front of the restaurant, the second Mok-dong dedicated lot, and the Dongtan 2 Mok-dong public parking lot, so being able to visit comfortably without parking worries is a huge plus!

A space shaped by moonlight and the sound of water

The restaurant is so much prettier in person than in photos. It has a polished yet trendy feel, and the second I walked in I could not help saying, “So pretty~” haha. Soft moonlight-like lighting blends with the sound of flowing water, making it feel like a little escape from everyday life. Among Dongtan 2 restaurants, I really think Got Dongtan’s atmospheric styling is something special.

The point here is that every seat feels like a good one. Beyond the main dining room, there are private VIP lounges, so you can choose individual rooms such as Hidden Room, Crescent, Full Moon, and Sky Lounge according to your plans. They are used for everything from proposals and anniversaries to business gatherings, and the party-ready multi-lounge accommodates up to 15 people!

Lunch order and welcome tea

You can order on the table tablet. Tap a food photo and a detailed description pops right up, which makes choosing from the menu fun! This Dongtan 2 restaurant presents multinational dishes spanning Italian, Chinese, Spanish, and Korean cuisine, prepared by chefs and mixologists with more than 10 years of experience, so the overall menu quality is high.

For Got Dongtan’s lunch set, you can choose from five pastas and three pizzas, and there is a huge variety of drinks too.

After we ordered, they brought us omija tea (five-flavor berry tea) as a welcome drink! Isn't the color so pretty? 〃'ᴗ'〃 It was pleasantly tart and really got the appetite going, so this was a place that put me in a good mood from the first impression.

Even the sparkling drink came in a pretty glass piled high with ice! Little details like these make it easy to see why this place has stayed so popular.

From Daily Salad to Cheongyang bulgogi pizza

Daily Salad

This salad is dressed with balsamic vinegar for a bright tang, and the portion is just right to enjoy without feeling heavy.

Honestly, I am not much of a vegetable person, but the cheese and tomato worked together so much better than I expected that I really enjoyed it. The person I came with was super happy with the salad too!

Cheongyang bulgogi pizza

This is the pizza I fell for last time and reordered. The aroma was incredible again that day, and unlike an ordinary bulgogi pizza, it has a deeper savory flavor. The spice is just enough to cut through the richness without being overwhelming, so I totally recommend it 👍🏻

Here is a little tip! Put the arugula that comes with the pasta on top of the pizza. It is seriously delicious that way too, haha. I definitely recommend trying it at least once, like I did!

Gambas aglio e olio, perfect for sharing

It was just the right amount for two people to share, and the pasta thickness and amount of oil were exactly to my taste.

A big tiger shrimp sat on top, which really made the presentation pop 〃'ᴗ'〃

The pasta had been well mantecato, so the oil had soaked into the noodles beautifully. With evenly cooked pasta and a mouthful of shrimp, it is the kind of flavor that makes for a happy lunch!

There were two shrimp too, which made it great for sharing. Totally recommend the aglio e olio 💛
