There are high chairs, and small dogs can come indoors without a carrier. You also get 2 hours of free parking in the Hangang Plaza underground parking lot.

Here’s my review after having seriously delicious galbi at Udontan Dasan Main Branch in Dasan, Namyangju! 🫶🏻 It is known for its excellent galbi, so there is usually quite a wait! I recommend reserving ahead. It is also only a 5-minute walk from Dasan Station, so getting there was easy.

Neat banchan and special sauces
Each of the basic banchan (Korean side dishes) came out so neatly too. There were kale pickles to whet the appetite, fresh kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, pickled lettuce, pickled onion, and corn salad—such great sides to have with the meat. Honestly, this place is a true banchan gem ,,✨
I also loved that there were lots of special sauces to suit your taste: pollock roe sesame oil sauce, ssamjang (savory soybean dipping paste), cumin, and Maldon salt!

Udontan’s galbi is made by aging top-grade ribs 6–8 in a special marinade for 120 hours, then par-grilling them over charcoal! Maybe that is why the savory juices filled my mouth, yet it was not tough at all—just pure tenderness. It felt like it was melting right in my mouth ,,😇 With the charcoal aroma on top, the flavor was the beeeest ,, why is it so delicious? And the staff grill it themselves with practiced skill, so all you have to do is eat~~ I love a BBQ restaurant that grills the meat for you 🫶🏻
The beef rib doenjang-jjigae that came with it was such a perfect pairing too. Have a piece of meat, then a spoonful of that rich stew, and you are headed straight to heaven.
The Korean pork 1++ yukhoe I ordered extra
✔️ Korean pork 1++ yukhoe ₩22,000 The yukhoe I ordered as an extra!!! The glossy look of it was perfect, right? They say it is made only with 1++ Hanwoo top round sourced directly from Majang-dong. It was savory, tender, and moist—seriously delicious! ❣️ Both the aged galbi and yukhoe I had today were excellent quality, so when I visit Udontan Dasan Main Branch again, I absolutely have to try the Korean pork 1++ neck and pork belly too! 😇
