Dongtan salon thick men's hair scissor cut + down perm: Juno Hair

After about a month, men's hair starts to feel shaggy and stuffy, doesn't it? For men's hair, the basic cut matters most, and here's my story of Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch (준오헤어 동탄솔빛나루점), where I loved the cut from the start :)

Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch is on the 2nd floor of Jeongrim Plaza on Dongtansolbit-ro. The building's underground car park has no barrier, but an attendant checks cars, so be sure to get a parking ticket from the salon when you leave~

Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and you step straight into the salon, haha

The interior is white-toned on one side and wood-toned on the other, clean, modern and upscale. There are plenty of spacious waiting areas, so waiting never felt awkward 🙂

A private room for families

There was one unusual area: behind the main treatment floor, a wood-toned space where you can get treatments together with a waiting area. Since many families visit, they said it's a space you can use privately, hehe

Kids room and bookshelf for visits with children

Along one wall there were books of all kinds for waiting customers, and there's also a kids room, so it looked great for visiting with children, haha. Parents who've struggled to get their hair done because of the kids could come here and refresh themselves 😊

Salon products on display and for sale

You often can't see which shampoos, hair dyes and other products a salon actually uses on customers, right? At Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch they display everything they use so you can look, and you can buy it too! Prices are all marked, so you can browse and buy comfortably :)

Locker room, dark shampoo room and padded walls

The locker room is neat, and the shampoo room was very private. At other salons the lights sometimes dazzled my eyes while I was lying back, but Juno Hair keeps it dark, so it seemed easy on the eyes :)

They also said many customers come with kids because there are lots of academies (cram schools) nearby. So the walls are padded to keep children from getting hurt. These thoughtful touches add up to a comfortable treatment, haha

They also prepared a drink while I waited~ They gave me cookies too, so I wasn't bored at all, hehe

Thick men's hair: what it looked like before the cut

This is my hair before the treatment~ My hair is quite thick, so even a few weeks after a haircut it gets frizzy and shaggy! It's just the right time for a cut, haha

How the men's scissor cut went at Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch

I asked for a clean style with a shorter back than before, and the designer started by tidying up the back neatly, haha. Even I felt refreshed just watching.. hehe

Honestly, many salons rush through men's cuts, but my designer at Juno Hair kept checking the style I wanted and cut very carefully with scissors 👍 Seeing her take care over even the tiniest stray hair made me trust her, hehe

How the men's down perm is done

After a lovely cut, we started the down perm. She applied the solution carefully so my hair wouldn't end up stuck flat to my head, haha. After applying it all and adding heat, she put on the neutralizer, rinsed my hair, and that was it 😘

Ta-da, here's the after, with the finishing cut done. It looks neat overall, right? Haha. I really love how tidy my hair feels now~
