Nampo-dong sushi with high chairs and a 5-minute wait: Moshi Moshi

I went to Nampo-dong with my mom recently and had lunch at the food court in Lotte Department Store Gwangbok. It had been a while since it was just the two of us eating together, and after some thought I ended up craving sushi, so we headed to Moshi Moshi. We ordered assorted sushi plus a crab guts bibimbap (rice mixed with crab innards) to fill us up properly.

Inside the 10th-floor restaurant and how long the wait was

Since Moshi Moshi is inside the department store, it's an easy place to head to whenever a sushi craving hits. We visited with my mom and the baby this time, and it was great being able to eat comfortably and chat slowly. The restaurant was spacious and clean. It's a popular spot even on weekday lunches — when I visited there was about a 5-minute wait.

What we ordered was Assorted Sushi A, Assorted Sushi C, and the Crab Guts Bibimbap Set.

What comes with the crab guts bibimbap set

The crab guts bibimbap came out first — it included udon, tempura, soft tofu, and salad.

This was the dish my mom ordered, and she said the crab guts were rich and delicious.

The udon noodles were springy too, and the combination worked really well!

The tempura was fried crisp and wasn't greasy at all, and the salad was refreshing, good for eating alongside the sushi in between bites.

The soft tofu had a nutty dressing that paired really well with it haha.

What is in Assorted Sushi A

My mom's additional order, Assorted Sushi A, arrived next.

The sushi lineup was great — it was packed with delicious cuts like halibut, salmon, halibut fin, and tuna.

Side dishes were soft tofu, salad, and a light miso-style soup.

Assorted Sushi C, with abalone and beef tartare

Finally, my own order — Assorted Sushi C — arrived! Since it had been a while, my mouth was watering. Being the slightly pricier option, the composition was definitely more generous.

It came with halibut, halibut fin, salmon, tuna, abalone, and beef tartare.

The halibut was chewy with a great texture,

and the fin cut, which I love, was really nutty.

The salmon and tuna melted in my mouth.

The abalone had a chewy yet enviable texture. Clean and nutty!

Piece by piece, the plate emptied out fast haha.

Paired with the crispy tempura, it was pure heaven.

Is Moshi Moshi Sushi worth it with a baby?

I went to Moshi Moshi❤️ while looking for a good restaurant at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, craving sushi. My mom and I ordered assorted sushi plus the crab guts bibimbap, and the sushi lineup was great with solid overall quality. It was nice getting to try a variety of sushi cuts, and with the crab guts bibimbap on top, it made for a really filling meal.

It's a good spot to stop by when you want to shop and also enjoy some good sushi at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok. Eating leisurely with my mom and having such good sushi made that lunch an even happier memory 😊
