What kind of Seongsu bakery café is LOOOP Bakery?
LOOOP Bakery (LOOOP 루프) is a large bakery café near Seongsu Station, and it's also known as a Seongsu hotspot thanks to its rooftop and self photo studio :) You can enjoy everything from the trendy ageujak cake (a cake with a crunchy, crackly topping) to tasty salt bread and baked sweets.

Getting there from Seongsu Station, and the exterior
LOOOP Bakery is a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 4, so it was easy to reach by subway or bus. A big ribbon decoration on the exterior makes it easy to spot from far away.

Inside, the rustic yet clean interior had a very Seongsu hotspot feel.

Is it a good large café for studying in Seongsu?
LOOOP Bakery is a large café with three floors and a rooftop. The space is wide and the tables are spaced out generously, so it was comfortable to stay a while.

The table height and sturdy chairs are perfectly fine for working solo, and I saw quite a few people on laptops doing assignments or work. It's a good large café for laptop work in Seongsu too.

Floors 2 and 3, open until 2 a.m.
The 2nd and 3rd floors of LOOOP Bakery impressed me with their clean, calm white-toned mood! The bright atmosphere seems great for food photos, and with generous hours until 2 a.m., I highly recommend it as a late-night café in Seongsu!

Self studio and rooftop photo spot
LOOOP Bakery has a uniquely set-up free self studio, so it seems you can take photos there too. There also seems to be a camera rental event for café customers, so ask at the counter for details!
This is the way up to the rooftop, a hot photo spot! Going by reviews, lots of people take photos here and post them on social media, and it was nice for making small memories too.

LOOOP Bakery drinks and filter coffee
LOOOP Bakery serves coffee, drinks and even wine, which makes it a good Seongsu Station café for a date or a blind date!

In particular, filter coffee brewed with LOOOP's recommended beans is cheaper on weekdays, so it should be a great option for people who really like coffee!

When is the bread fully stocked at LOOOP Bakery?
LOOOP Bakery's bread is refilled every day at 12 p.m., so I recommend visiting after noon if you want bread! The dessert lineup was great, from salt bread and sandwiches to cookies, egg tarts and other baked sweets.

This cute New York bear roll seemed to be a popular pick too, and it was so cute that my eyes kept going back to it.

From fruit cakes to ageujak cakes
It's not just bread, the cake lineup at LOOOP Bakery was great too. The fruit cakes looked wonderful and sweet and delicious just to look at, and seemed like a good match for coffee.

There were also cakes and gâteaux in cheese, matcha, injeolmi (roasted soybean powder rice cake flavor) and brown rice, a nice variety that's perfect for a post-meal sugar boost.

+ The ageujak cakes came in peach and mango, and the dazzling look of them made me want one so badly.. I'll definitely try one next time.
Seongsu salt bread spot LOOOP Bakery: prices for 4 kinds to go

- Salt bread ₩3,500 × 2
- Basil salt bread ₩4,000
- Sausage salt bread ₩4,500

Individually wrapped and fine after a whole day out
I'm currently obsessed with salt bread, so I packed one of each kind to go! Thanks to how carefully LOOOP Bakery wrapped each one, I carried them around all day and only took them out when I got home in the evening, and nothing was out of shape or squished!

Favorites: garlic cream cheese and sausage salt bread
My favorites were the garlic cream cheese and sausage salt breads, which were packed with filling and tasted sweet and savory. The plain salt bread was also delicious, crispy as can be after a spin in the air fryer.
LOOOP Bakery is near Seongsu Station and spans three floors with a roomy interior, so it's a large Seongsu café that's great for weekend meetups! With a wide variety of cakes and breads, it's a Seongsu bakery worth visiting, and I recommend it to bread lovers :)
