Before a trip to Jeju, I went to One & Only Hair Gwacheon Government Complex Station (원앤온리헤어 과천청사역점) for root color and hair care I had been putting off. My roots had grown out significantly, and my damaged hair was difficult to brush, so I had both root color and an Ojua clinic treatment that day.

Where is the salon, and what is the space like?
The salon is right opposite Gwacheon Government Complex Station. It had just opened when I visited, so the facilities were clean, and the spacious interior did not feel cramped during my long stay.
How much were the root color and clinic treatment?
The salon used fixed pricing and discussed the cost carefully before treatment. The base prices I was quoted were ₩70,000 for root color and ₩100,000 for the Ojua clinic treatment. My roots were longer than the 2.5 cm base standard, and my hair reaches my waist, so extra charges were added.
I documented my hair condition before starting. From above, my grown-out roots stood out more, and I also found some gray hairs. The lead stylist was kind, which made the treatment comfortable.
Drinks were available, and they would toast bread if requested.
How did the root color process go, and how was the color blend?
They first applied a scalp protectant, then began the root color. The grown-out roots blended naturally with the previously colored sections. I was pleased that the color looked matched overall.
What was the order of the Ojua clinic treatment?
After applying the root color, they explained the Ojua clinic treatment I would receive next. My hair was washed with Ojua shampoo and treatment, then cared for with four products.
My hair was badly damaged and difficult to brush, but I wanted to keep it long. I was especially curious how much softer it would become after this treatment.
The four-step treatment took about one hour and 30 minutes. Each step was explained as follows.
- Step 1 opened the cuticle pathways to prepare the hair to absorb moisture.
- Step 2 replenished missing moisture.
- Step 3 used foam to hold the moisture in so it would not escape.
- Step 4 was a coating process intended to make the hair soft.
How did brushing and hair texture change after treatment?
After the treatment, my hair seemed more hydrated, and its rough texture felt much softer. It brushed more easily than before and also looked shinier.
The shampoo room was comfortable, and massage chairs were available. I was especially pleased with the natural color blend between my roots and existing hair, and with how much softer it felt when brushing.
At the end, they carefully explained how to care for my hair and finished with a blow-dry. Before my trip, I was able to refresh both my root color and hair texture.
