After a six-hour study session near Jongak Station, I wanted something tasty and went looking for a place to have a date with my chunky friend haha, and that's how I ended up at Sudowonui Bimil Jeojanggo (수도원의 비밀 저장고, "the monastery's secret cellar")! The name itself felt special, so I was curious ㅎㅎ. Even the menu names aren't just "pizza" or "pasta" — they're things like the monk's fragrant fungi pizza and the silent rosé pasta, which made ordering fun from the start.

There are so many good restaurants around Jongak Station that it's hard to decide, but that day we wanted to eat pizza and pasta and chat at ease.
The menu names alone felt different from your average Italian restaurant, and the interior was just as unique — the kind of place people like me, a bit of a nerd..., would love lol.

There are also quiet group rooms you can reserve for parties, and plenty of tables in the main hall. Totally recommend it as a blind date spot near Jongak Station!
They seem to clean the draft beer lines every day. Apparently it's a shop certified by OB Beer for practicing draft beer line cleaning!
Even the water doesn't just come out normally. So fun 🤣

After sitting in a study café for six hours I was exhausted, and they had Cass lemon beer, so I tried it!
The portion was just right and it tasted great, so next time I go on a spontaneous date I'm definitely getting lemon Cass again?!?!?! Recommending Sudowonui Bimil Jeojanggo for a Jongak Station date restaurant!
Monk's Fragrance funghi pizza: the wood-fired dough makes it
The monk's fragrant fungi pizza 🍕 — being a wood-fired pizza, it looked appetizing the moment it arrived. Wood-fired pizza really does have a different dough texture from regular pizza ㅎㅎ.
There's someone called Pungi-nim in a game I play these days, so I ordered the fungi pizza lol. It's loaded with mushrooms and olives, totally my style! Eating a warm slice, the cheese and toppings blended together, and there was a subtle smoky flavor from the dough that made it delicious.
The dough wasn't too thick and had a nice chewy texture, and the edges were browned in the wood-fire oven, giving them a nutty flavor. The crust was so good I ended up finishing every last bit lol.
Silence rosé pasta, eaten in turns with the pizza
Silent rosé pasta 🍝 — this is the rosé pasta we ordered alongside the pizza. The smooth, creamy rosé sauce coated the noodles nicely, making it easy to eat back and forth with the pizza.
While the pizza's charm was mostly the nutty wood-fired dough, the rosé pasta had its own appeal with the smooth, creamy sauce — each had a different kind of charm. I was so hungry I slurped it all up ㅠㅠ.
Loaded with bacon too, and the sauce was so thick and rich it made my mouth water! Gotta toss it quick before it firms up~
How much should two people order at Sudowonui Bimil Jeojanggo?
If you're looking for a Jongak date restaurant, a place where you can share both pizza and pasta is a good bet. It's great for two people to split, and the menu lineup makes for good conversation over the meal — a really good fit for a date.
I was so hungry I slurped it all down, and it was genuinely so good..🤤 With two women, ordering one pizza and one pasta was just the right amount to fill up 😉. The food was delicious, and from the name Sudowonui Bimil Jeojanggo to the menu names, everything was unique enough to stick in my memory more than a typical restaurant!
