Mangwon-dong bossam spot before gift shop hopping: Pyeongidambaek

Pyeongidambaek Ppyeo Kalguksu Main Branch is a bone kalguksu (pork bone noodle soup) and bossam (boiled pork wraps) restaurant on Yanghwa-ro 7-gil, between Mangwon Station and Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. After looking around the Mangwon Station area, the writer walked over and ordered the medium boiled pork platter (₩42,000), wrapping it with kimchi and diced radish kimchi, and found that anchovy noodle soup can be added for ₩5,000 with a boiled pork order. The front tables filled up completely by dinnertime, and Pyeongidambaek sits close enough to walk on to Mangwon Market and the neighborhood's gift shops afterward.
