Why I came to this Wangsimni hair salon for a clinic

I take hair clinics very seriously. If you have long hair, a clinic is something you really have to get regularly. So I went looking for a good-value hair salon in Wangsimni and ended up at Uahan Meori.

Location and atmosphere

Uahan Meori is a 5-minute walk from Sangwangsimni Station, on the 2nd floor of the Wangsimni Centras Building H shopping complex.

First of all, the big windows let in lots of light, so the inside feels bright, and it's nice and spacious, nothing stuffy about it. I went on a weekday during the day and there were still quite a lot of customers. A popular Wangsimni hair salon, Uahan Meori!

Thin, tangly long hair: home care only goes so far

My dry, frizzy hair... I do try with treatments and hair masks at home, but there's only so much they can do. So regular clinics are a must! Yep.

My hair is thin, so even frequent blow-drying damages it easily. And it tangles so much when I brush it.. so much... But I want long hair and I really don't want to cut it.. so I have to keep getting clinics.

The whole clinic happens in the shampoo room

What's special about the clinic at Uahan Meori is that the whole process takes place in the shampoo room. Today's clinic was done there from start to finish, and the chair was plush and super comfortable.

I like that the space is separated off and private like this. Maybe it's because the whole clinic is done in the shampoo room, but the chair is incredibly comfy.. so comfy-

Step 1: Clinic shampoo

Step 1 is the clinic shampoo. I was told it removes heavy metals and impurities from the hair and scalp that aren't needed. The shampoo itself was also thorough, reaching every corner of my scalp.

Step 2: Moisture and oil charge, and the mist machine

From step 2, they fill the hair back up with moisture and oils. Since the unneeded components inside the hair are drawn out first and then replenished, I was told the effect is better and lasts longer.

After generously applying the moisture and oils so they soak in well, they run the mist machine at full blast. This opens up the inside of the hair, like its pores(?), so the ingredients absorb better. During the mist, they also placed a warm towel behind my neck, which was so thoughtful and kind 😃

Step 3: Protein charge

In step 3, they fill in protein. Protein is really important for hair! They applied it carefully to my hair, generously and without holding back.

Then another mist session so it absorbs well. The steam was so strong that my face felt moisturized too 🥹 The chair was so comfy that I started to doze off, too.

My hair is already moist and glossy. With all those good ingredients put in, it definitely feels heavier. It's soaked up so much moisture, oil and protein~~~

After the 1-hour clinic: how my ends and perm curls looked

After the 1-hour clinic at Uahan Meori, you can see the shine and the swish just by looking at my hair. An amazing effect in just one hour! The curls feel bouncy again 🧡 Apparently, if you get a clinic after a perm, the curl effect lasts longer and stays bouncy!?

They focused especially on my badly damaged ends, and I could clearly feel the frizzy parts had changed. My hair is also so silky that I keep touching it. The staff were very kind and attentive, and Uahan Meori in Wangsimni gave me a clinic with great results.
