Bukchon blind date pizza spot: corn pizza and Hoegaarden, Low Five
In short
Low Five Anguk is a red-walled pizza and Western restaurant on Bukchon-ro in Jongno, Seoul, a 2–3 minute walk from Anguk Station Exit 2. The writer ordered the corn pizza, Alfredo cream pasta, a classic Caesar salad topped with snow cheese (finely grated cheese) and a Hoegaarden, and loved the thick cream sauce, the cheese-heavy Caesar and a corn pizza that won over even someone who rarely eats corn. With good food, a nice atmosphere and a room that isn't noisy, Low Five Anguk is a solid pick for a date or a blind date.

Where is Low Five Anguk, and is there parking?
Come out of Anguk Station Exit 2 and walk straight, and Low Five Anguk is the red-walled Western restaurant on your right. It takes only 2–3 minutes from the station, haha. There's no dedicated parking, so use a nearby public lot.^^
I went to a really good Western restaurant in Bukchon.

Low Five Anguk waitlist and waiting ticket times
Low Five Anguk takes no reservations. You can only sign up for the waitlist at the door or through Catchtable. It's so popular that on weekend lunch and dinner hours you should probably get on the list ahead of time, haha.

The waiting tickets are handed out at 11:05 a.m. and 4:35 p.m., apparently. Sadly, no reservations, just the waitlist.....!! Parking nearby is tight, so they ask you to take public transport. There are other notices posted too, so read them before you visit.^^

You can look at the menu before going in. Everything sounded delicious from the names alone, so I was already torn, haha.

Low Five Anguk atmosphere and bringing kids
The inside of Low Five Anguk was clean with a nice mood. There were all kinds of tables so any group size can sit, and the diners were of all ages, haha.

The things you need are set out in the middle of the hall, and there's a baby chair near the entrance too. Parents with little kids probably wouldn't feel nervous bringing them here.

The restroom is inside the restaurant and unisex, but very clean for a shared one. It seemed really well maintained, haha.

What did we order at Low Five Anguk?
You order with the QR code at your seat, which was convenient, lol. That day we ordered the corn pizza, Alfredo cream pasta, classic Caesar salad, and a Hoegaarden beer.

Pizza was the first thing I saw on the menu, lol. The corn pizza is at the very top, so I figured it's the signature dish. The only rice dish was kimchi fried rice, but we wanted pasta more than rice today! So we ordered the corn pizza, Alfredo cream pasta, classic Caesar salad, and!!!! a Hoegaarden too, lol.

This is the basic table setting at Low Five Anguk.

Our Hoegaarden came out. The glass was beer-mug-sized, which was cute, lolol.

Alfredo cream pasta: thick sauce and chunky bacon
The Alfredo cream pasta at Low Five Anguk had a thick, not watery sauce, with chunky bacon-like meat and shrimp. Ta-da~~~? Following the beer, our food arrived: the Alfredo cream pasta 🤭 It's been a while since I had cream pasta, so I was excited!! I forgot to ask them for extra sauce, but when it came out I was totally satisfied, haha.

The bacon-like meat in it is pretty thick and big..ha. Cream pasta after so long tastes like honey!!!!!!! The sauce wasn't watery but nicely thick and rich, so it was even better..heh. Oh, and there were a few shrimp in it too, a good size for eating.

Classic Caesar salad: piled with snow cheese
The classic Caesar salad at Low Five Anguk comes piled high with snow cheese (finely shaved cheese)~~!! A Caesar salad even better than a salmon salad...... It's the first salad I grab at a buffet 🥬 A million times I thought, so glad I ordered this, lolol. I hope everyone tries it.^^

Corn pizza: the signature dish, tasty even if you don't like corn
The corn pizza at Low Five Anguk looks insane, and the colors are so pretty. Honestly, a totally crazy combination, lolol 👍🏻

I don't really eat corn, so why is this corn pizza so good.... And how do you even pull the corn off like that.... I'm doomed.

I remembered there was hot sauce and tried sprinkling some on. Tabasco is totally a matter of taste, right? I was fine with it, but my companion didn't seem to like it, lolololol. Sprinkled on the end of the pizza crust, it was totally fine, haha.
Is Low Five Anguk good for a blind date or a date?
The food at Low Five Anguk was all good, the mood is nice, and it isn't loud, so I think it would be great for a blind date, ha. I had Western food that was reeeeally good for the first time in ages. A huge success 🧡🧡 I'm definitely coming back, bang bang!!!!
