Pocheon pasta restaurant after Hantangang: mild kids' pasta, Eoneu Dal
In short
Eoneu Dal (어느달) is a pasta restaurant on Jeongmundong-gil in Pocheon, Gyeonggi, with cushioned baby chairs with footrests and a mild kids' option on some dishes. On the way back from Hantangang Geopark and a spring garden festival, the writer and a baby shared shrimp pilaf, beef tomato pasta and the abalone pasta of the month, with dishes around ₩20,000, and even the kids' versions were well seasoned enough that the baby ate well. Eoneu Dal is worth a return visit for families looking for a good pasta restaurant in Pocheon with a child.

Eoneu Dal (어느달), our stop on the way back from a Pocheon day trip
Eoneu Dal is a pasta restaurant on Jeongmundong-gil in Pocheon, where we stopped with the baby for a meal at the end of a weekend trip. We had seen Hantangang Geopark and the suspension bridge, and also caught the spring garden festival on its very last day, then ate on the way home. Eoneu Dal isn't just okay with a baby, it's a really great Pocheon pasta restaurant to go to with one. If a place like this were near my home, I'd go all the time.
It's perfectly placed whether you've come to Pocheon for a drive or are just stopping on the way back.

Is parking easy at Eoneu Dal?
Yes, there's plenty of parking, so coming by car is very convenient.

Is Eoneu Dal good with a baby? Cushioned baby chairs and baby tableware
Inside, seats are spaced generously along the big windows, and baby chairs are ready on one side. The window seats are the first thing you notice when you walk in.

The baby chair had a cushioned back and a footrest at the bottom. Not your usual baby chair, but a seriously fancy one.

When you sit down, basic tableware and water are set out.

The water has lemon and herbs in it, so it's pretty just to look at.

Since we came with a baby, they set up the baby chair and tableware right away. Honestly, that alone would make it a great place to bring a baby, but it didn't stop there.

How QR ordering works at Eoneu Dal, plus the mild kids' option
There's no paper menu; you scan a QR code and order right away, and

the menu actually has an option to make a dish not spicy for kids! Dishes were around ₩20,000, which felt about right for today's prices. We ordered 3 dishes, and for the 2 that allowed it, we chose the kids' version.

3 free salt bread rolls after you order
Once you order, warm salt bread (a buttery roll with a salted, crisp bottom) is brought out. These days a salt bread at a bakery café easily runs over ₩3,000 each, so getting 3 for free was a welcome surprise. The bread was properly crisp outside and soft inside, and really delicious.

Next came the pickles,

Shrimp pilaf at Eoneu Dal, mild enough for a baby
The shrimp pilaf was topped with several large shrimp,

and fresh herbs on top. The aroma was really good! They weren't just there for looks; the scent matched the pilaf so well that I kept marveling at it while eating.

The shrimp were plump, the seasoning was just right, and the baby could eat it too. With the buttery aroma on top, we all ate it very happily. Along with the big shrimp, there were small ones mixed in that the baby could manage.

Beef tomato pasta at Eoneu Dal, ordered mild for kids
The beef pasta had beef seared only on the outside, tataki-style (lightly seared and sliced), on top, with plenty of beef-and-tomato sauce underneath. You can order this one not spicy for babies too, so we did.

What does Eoneu Dal's abalone pasta of the month taste like?
The abalone pasta is the pasta prepared as the menu of the month. It makes real use of abalone innards sauce, so the color comes out well, and it was served with abalone and cheese sprinkled over the noodles, plus a lemon.

Seeing everything laid out together, each dish really looks impressive at this Pocheon pasta restaurant.

We were told to squeeze the lemon over the abalone, so we did right away,

and took a bite. The abalone innards aroma hits you, and the lemon blends in perfectly. Really delicious.

Mild kids' tomato pasta: the baby grabbed the noodles and ate well
The tomato pasta was made not spicy, so the baby could eat it, and the little one grabbed the noodles and dug in. It looked too messy to photograph, haha, but it's definitely a flavor kids would like.

Being the kids' version doesn't mean it's bland or uneatable; the sauce was just right. The well-cooked beef was tender too, and went really well with the pasta.
Why I want to go back to Eoneu Dal in Pocheon
Eoneu Dal gives you the confidence that whatever you order will be good, so I definitely want to visit again. If you're looking for a Pocheon pasta restaurant, I recommend Eoneu Dal, which is really great to visit with kids.
