Pizza restaurant in Yeonsu, Incheon: terrace wine at Pizza257

Isn't the evening weather lately just perfect for a walk? (I love it sooo muchㅠㅠㅠㅠ)

For the first time in ages, I went on a weekday evening date with Hoho and headed to Songdo Central Park to set the mood a little, hehe 🌝 After taking a leisurely walk all around the lake at Central Park, we started getting hungry. So we made our way to the Art Foret shopping area right beside Central Park, where lovely red-brick buildings cluster together like a tiny European village!! 🏠

(It was my first time here at night, and once the sun went down it felt even more like being abroad..✨)

The place we went was Pizza257, on the ground-floor street at Art Foret! 🍕 (There is another one near Incheon National University Station, but we went to the one by Central Park Station!)

• Private hire is available too!! They say it can take up to 100 people outdoors and 50 inside, haha

From the entrance onward, I just couldn't walk past that combination of string lights over the outdoor terrace and colorful chairs!! 🥹 It had such a strong exotic feel, like we'd stepped into a romantic sidewalk café on a street in Paris or Italy. 🎶

So we claimed an outdoor terrace table with a cool night breeze to really set the mood today (haha) 💡

There are seriously so many outdoor seats! Such good vibes..🪑

When I popped inside to order, I found that the interior was decorated in such a hip, cute way too! There were garlands of flags from around the world—America, Korea, Brazil and more—hanging from the ceiling, while cans of tomato sauce lined one wall, giving it a full-on vintage pub feeling. Haha, so hip.

And near the entrance is the “Self Bar.” What really made me think the owner had amazing sense was this: when you're happily eating on the outdoor terrace, it can get a little chilly at night, right? (Especially from this day onward—it was toooo cool at night ㅠㅠ) But as you can see in the photo, they had a huge pile of blankets prepared 🧺 Thanks to that, I think you could enjoy the terrace warmly until the end even without bringing an extra layer. 🥹👍🏻

This is an open kitchen, so you get the bonus of seeing all the cooking 🧑🏻🍳 And do you see that attention-grabbing brick oven in the middle?! The moment we saw the flames inside, my boyfriend and I looked at each other like, “Yep, wood-fired pizza is an absolute must today,” haha 😳

And we got lucky enough to watch the chef kneading pizza dough from the very front row!! They even let me film a video, so I captured a short one, haha. It wasn't even baked yet, but it felt like a delicious smell was already drifting over—I was so hungry I nearly got dizzy.. 🤤

There were plenty of sauces, forks, knives, pickles, and more to help yourself to inside! 🍴🥣 They were also ready with drinks like beer, soju, Zero Cola, Pepsi, and more, haha.

Back at our table, it was time to choose in earnest. There were so many pizzas—quattro cheese, pepperoni, gorgonzola, arugula prosciutto, and more—that it was hard to decide. The side menu was packed with pasta, chicken, spicy tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes), and more, so if I came with a group, I'd want to order everything 😭

But today, we went classic with the classic of all classics (haha): the Margherita pizza. And while we'd normally have beer... today we ordered two glasses of white wine 🥂 Looking closely at the alcohol menu, I also spotted an unlimited-wine course for ₩29,000 🍷?! I firmly vowed that next time, I'd get my money's worth from the unlimited wine 🔥 hahaha.

After the wait, our pizza and white wine finally arrived! Set out on the yellow table, it was terrace mood perfection..🙈 But can you see that tiny, adorable pink pig figurine in the middle of the pizza? Hahaha 🐷 (Such a photo-ready visual.)

Maybe because the dough had just been kneaded and baked straight in the oven, it was wonderfully chewy and nutty! The combination of bright traditional Neapolitan tomato sauce 🍅, mozzarella cheese melting softly and stretching in long strands 🧀, and fragrant fresh basil was simply perfection itself. 🍃

Then I took a sip of cool, chilled, slightly sweet white wine, and the cheese flavor suddenly came alive—it was such a heavenly taste that all the day's fatigue melted away ㅠㅠ The atmosphere and the food were both wonderful.. 😗 #Romantic #Successful #DateNight, that kind of thing ^.^ (Oh, and... owner, what white wine is this!! It was so exactly my taste!!)

This was a table setting I saw on the way out after we'd eaten! If you reserve for 10 or more people, they set it up like this, so I think it would be perfect for a friends' gathering or work dinner too!! I also saw lots of people getting takeaway. It would be nice to take it home for a housewarming or eat it at home with friends too...🥳

When you're dating near Songdo Central Park, craving pizza, or want to have a drink outside and set the mood, I absolutely recommend Pizza257! Chewy wood-fired pizza and chilled wine are always the right combination ㅠㅠ Officially a great pizza spot in Songdo! 🤓

(I'm usually a pizza-and-beer person, but pizza and wine(?) are actually a pretty good pairing too.. haha.) The restaurant was clean, and the owner and staff were all kind, so next time I'll definitely come back with Hoho for chicken and unlimited wine!! 🙂↕️🙂↕️
