Songdo bakery near Central Park for salt bread: Tomoru Bakery

In short

Tomoru Bakery is a bakery in Yeonsu, Incheon, near Songdo Central Park. I had its savory salt bread with coffee and looked through chestnut loaf bread and many other choices. A lovely stop for bread and coffee after a walk.

Tomoru Bakery near Songdo Central Park

The place I visited today is Tomoru Bakery (송도토모루베이커리). My husband had been saying we should go all week because it is a famous bakery in Songdo—Tomoru Bakery! 🍞🍞🍞

Visiting Tomoru Bakery

It is at 1F, Unit 101, 23 Haedoji-ro 120beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The shop is open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Tomoru Bakery location and shop information

It is fairly close to Central Park, so it is nice to drop by while out for a walk, and it was convenient to visit by car too. 🍀🍀🍀

Bread display at Tomoru Bakery

Buttery bakery aromas and shelves full of choices

Tomoru Bakery has so many kinds of bread. The rich, buttery bakery smell hits you as soon as you walk in, and every display is packed with bread, so I spent quite a while wondering what to choose.

A variety of bakery menu items

There was such a variety, from meal breads and sweet desserts to salt bread, pastries, and cakes, making it easy to pick according to your taste.

Choosing for every family member, including chestnut loaf bread

From staples such as salt bread and loaf bread to more distinctive items, there was a good mix, so I think a family visit would make it easy for everyone to choose the bread they want. One menu item worth noticing at Tomoru Bakery is the chestnut loaf bread. I had also seen visitors recommend it, saying the large chestnuts inside made it especially satisfying. 🍞🍞🍞

Bread selection including chestnut loaf bread

Even while I was there, customers kept coming in to choose bread, and it felt like local residents were picking some up for snacks or breakfast. Other visitors also often mentioned the wide range of breads and how satisfying it was to try several different items. 🍞🍞🍞

The shop atmosphere while choosing bread to take away

Savory salt bread that went well with coffee

Salt bread is something I always try at a bakery, and this one was mild and savory with a buttery flavor, so it was just right with coffee. 🥖🥖🥖 If you keep eating only sweet breads, you can get tired of them quickly, so being able to mix savory breads with desserts is another plus.

There are plenty of items at prices that do not feel burdensome even when you buy several breads, so you might come intending to pick just one or two and end up filling your tray.

Bread and coffee indoors or on the outdoor terrace

There is space to sit and eat inside, as well as outdoor terrace seating, so on a nice day it looked like a great place to enjoy bread with coffee. Convenient parking and terrace access are pluses too.

A bakery said to be made by a certified baking master

Another thing that caught my eye was that Tomoru Bakery is said to make its bread directly through a certified baking master. ✨✨✨ It is known for using good ingredients and a maturation process, and perhaps that is why even the basic breads felt nicely made.

A Songdo bakery worth visiting after a walk

If you are looking for a relaxed, neighborhood-style bakery in Songdo, or somewhere to go bakery-hopping near Central Park, it is worth stopping by at least once! 🫧🫧🫧 If you love bread like I do, there are so many kinds that browsing is part of the fun. Next time, I am going to try the breads I did not get to eat this time, one by one.

One savory bread with a warm Americano makes a simple brunch, while sweet breads are perfect for an afternoon snack. On a nice day, it would also be lovely to take some bread to go for a nearby walk or relax over bread and coffee. 🍞🍞🍞
