How many kinds of bread does Tomoru Bakery's master baker make?
Handmade bakes by a Korean master baker

The number of breads at Tomoru is just wild. Some use healthy ingredients too, which caught my eye.

Some have unfamiliar names but are made with familiar ingredients.

There are the basics too: red bean bun (danpatppang), salt bread and sandwich loaves.

Best-seller tags and ingredient labels make choosing easy
Tomoru marks its best-selling items, and some breads are labeled with what goes into them. With so many breads it took me forever to choose, but the best marks helped, and it's nice to know what you're eating.

The showcase also has roll cakes and other cakes, and they looked so delicious.. I browsed them like I was hypnotized.

Can you get coffee at Tomoru Bakery?
Tomoru has coffee and other drinks that go well with bread. Takeout is fine, but if you have time you can enjoy them with your coffee inside the bakery.

None of the bread made at Tomoru uses preservatives, so they recommend eating it on the same day.
The 6 breads I took home from Tomoru Bakery
- White castella
- Coconut cream cheese (best)
- Health rusk
- Alligator
- Apple pie
- Fresh vegetable croquette (best)

I chose these carefully: from a castella roll to a cream cheese baguette, a fig health rusk, a nut pastry, apple pie and a fresh vegetable croquette. A nice variety!
White castella (sponge cake)

I've had plenty of white castella (sponge cake) elsewhere. Tomoru's felt a bit chewier somehow.
Coconut cream cheese bread

This is a baguette filled with coconut cream cheese. It's usually plain cream cheese, but Tomoru's coconut cream cheese made the bread nuttier and richer in flavor.
Apple pie
The apple pie is packed with sweet filling, and its crispy pastry is the charm.
Fig health rusk
I'd never heard of a health rusk, so it caught my interest all the more.

Tomoru's health rusk is studded with big chunks of fig and has a crunchy texture~ If you like figs, you'll love this.
Alligator bread with pecans and walnuts
The alligator, unique from its name onward, is a pastry with pecans and walnuts. Sweet pecans and walnuts pop out of the crispy pastry, and I really liked it. I'd never had bread like this before, so the unfamiliar, unique flavor was appealing~
Fresh vegetable croquette

The best-seller fresh vegetable croquette has fresh vegetables, ham and cheese inside, and the crispy bread makes it filling and tasty.
