Why I chose a Chef Cho cake at Shinsegae Gangnam
Chef Cho (쉐프조) at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam is a cake shop in the basement dessert section, known from the TV show Master of Living. I stopped by to pick a birthday cake for my sister, and among the cake shops around, Chef Cho's fresh fruit cakes won me over at first sight, so I chose one right away.
I had booked a restaurant in Gangnam in advance for my sister's birthday party, and I dropped by Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam to buy a gift and a cake 🎁🎂 While browsing the dessert section after buying the gift, I found Chef Cho, famous as a Master of Living cake! 🍰✨ I looked around the other cake shops too, but the cakes piled with fresh, juicy fruit at Chef Cho were by far the prettiest. Love at first sight, so I picked one without a second thought! 🍓🥭

Chef Cho Shinsegae Gangnam checked how long it would take to reach my destination and packed the cake with ice to keep it cold. The packaging is so classy 🎁💗 From the look of the cake to the wrapping, it was perfect, so I think it's great for gifting.
They even wrapped it in a plastic bag once more, so it was easy to carry on the way 🫶🏻 The kind owner carefully checked how long the trip would be and added ice to keep the cake cold, which made me even happier 🤍
Strawberry Mango Flower No. 1: the reaction on the birthday
Happy birthday ❤️ When she saw the Chef Cho Strawberry Mango Flower cake, my sister said how pretty it was and loved it sooo much (I want one too).
It looked pretty in the showcase, but taking it out and seeing it for real, it looked even more appetizing and delicious 🎂 The fresh fruit on top was especially fresh 🍓🥭 The cake design is so pretty too ღ
I sent the cake to my sister as a gift, and when she told me it was really delicious, I felt great myself 🎂💗 It felt even more rewarding that the person who received it liked it 🫶🏻 But I'm a little sad I didn't get to taste it myself,,, haha. For my next birthday, I'll definitely buy a Chef Cho cake and eat it ☺️
