Pistachio croissant at Remangdore, a Seorae Village bakery in Seoul
In short
Remangdore Seorae Village Branch is a bakery café in Seocho, Seoul, 566m from Exit 5 of Express Bus Terminal Station and across from Paris 15th District Park. The showcase at Remangdore holds pistachio croissants and madeleine gift sets, and the nutty Noir beans go into the vanilla latte and the plain latte. Desserts, coffee beans and goods sit under one roof, and the cherrywood-and-gold interior feels like a hotel lobby.

What to order at Remangdore, a Seorae Village dessert café in Seoul
Walking into Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, you're greeted by a bakery showcase right by the counter. Remangdore is especially famous for its croissants, and right now they have a pistachio croissant...!

Doesn't it look incredibly good, haha? Piled high with pistachio, it looked like it'd be nutty and sweet.
I remember back when the Dubai chewy cookie trend was taking over bakeries, I tried a Dubai croissant and was blown away by how good it was.
Cakes, jams and madeleines in the Remangdore showcase
True to its reputation as a dessert spot in Seorae Village, Remangdore also has various kinds of cakes and madeleines.

The madeleines especially come in so many varieties that they even have a 'gift set.' With Chuseok (Korean harvest holiday) coming up, these neatly packed madeleines would be great to share with family. Don't they just look appetizing and put you in a good mood?

How serious is Remangdore about its coffee?
Remangdore's coffee beans are also available to buy online! I think it's a good idea to pick your bean first according to your taste, then choose the type of coffee.

[Bean selection TIP!!] 👉 Nutty and rich → Noir 👉 Fresh and fruity → Blanc 👉 Smooth and easy on the stomach → Decaf
Signature Ice Cream Float — ₩8.5

Being a bit of a sweet tooth, I ordered a vanilla latte, and the other two drinks were regular lattes. I picked the nutty bean, and the coffee flavor was really good. There are plenty of coffee options and a good number of teas for people who can't drink coffee, so it seems like a great place to enjoy a variety of drinks.
Inside Remangdore: cherrywood and gold like a hotel lobby
I thought Remangdore was just a dessert spot in Seorae Village, but it turns out it's also an interior design spot. From the entrance, the simple yet radiant interior catches your eye. Apparently, 'Remangdore' means 'golden hand' — so I guess everyone working here really does have golden hands...!

The interior combines cherrywood tones with gold and black for a touch of luxury, while beige chairs and tables add warmth and calm at the same time — it genuinely felt like being in a hotel lobby. On a nice day, sitting by the window that opens outward and sipping coffee would be so romantic. Next time I visit, I'll have to aim for a window seat.

Remangdore goods, coffee beans and bringing your dog
There were glass cups, tumblers, plates and more stamped with Remangdore's signature logo displayed on shelves. The logo is so pretty that I really wanted to take one home. Giving these as a gift along with Remangdore's desserts would definitely make the recipient happy. The heat-resistant glass cup especially — isn't it so pretty? I lost count of how many times I picked it up and put it back down, haha.

Pets are welcome at Remangdore, with a few restrictions
Rather than a negative policy, I think it's more that with so many desserts around, the store is worried about pets accidentally eating something dropped on the floor. Entry itself is allowed, but movement within the store is restricted, so it's good to keep that in mind.

With a meaningful concept and a wide range of desserts, goods, and coffee beans, Remangdore is a true dessert spot in Seorae Village. Why not spend some relaxed time in this stylish space that feels like you've stepped into Europe?
