I visited Taedon Geomdan Sageori (태돈 검단사거리점) with my family on the weekend. We had a Korean pork assorted platter and kkodeulsal, and the meat came with a varied selection of complimentary dishes that let us try different combinations. The side dishes for my child and the parking area also made it convenient for a family meal.

How far is it from Geomdan Sageori Station, and is parking convenient?
It was about a five-minute walk from Exit 2 of Geomdan Sageori Station on Incheon Subway Line 2. The address is 139 Wanjeong-ro, Geomdan-gu, Incheon, Building B, 1st floor. The restaurant occupies a prominent first-floor space along the road, so it was easy to find, and there was a spacious dedicated parking lot behind the building where several cars could park.

As listed on the date of the original post, Sep 7, 2026, the hours were 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Last order was at 9 p.m.
What was the restaurant like for a meal with a child?
Light came in through the full-length windows, and the high ceiling made the interior feel bright and spacious. There was plenty of room between the tables, so we could eat without worrying much about the neighboring table. When I visited, air circulation also seemed good, and smoke or smells were not uncomfortable.

Baby chairs were available, which looked convenient for families with young children. Because the restaurant was large, I could also imagine it working for gatherings with friends or company dinners.

What meat did I order, and how much did it cost?
I browsed the menu and ordered using the tablet at the table. The antibiotic-free Korean pork samgyeopsal and Korean pork kkodeulsal were each ₩13,900 for 150 g. There were also set menus, side dishes, and lunch specials.
We wanted to try several cuts, so we ordered the Korean pork assorted platter, 600 g, along with 150 g of kkodeulsal.

What comes with a pork order?
When I visited, jjolmyeon, steamed egg custard, and flat dumplings came with the meat without a separate order. The jjolmyeon had plenty of vegetables and sauce, and the noodles were springy with a sweet-and-sour flavor.

The steamed egg custard was soft like pudding, while the flat dumplings arrived crisp from the grill. I liked putting jjolmyeon and a piece of meat on top of a flat dumpling and eating them together.

My child ate the flat dumplings and steamed egg custard well without finding them spicy. Having food to eat alongside the meat made it easy for the family to share.

What did the Dubai chewy ssamjang taste like?
Dubai chewy ssamjang was ssamjang mixed with kataifi. After stirring it and putting a little on the meat, I noticed a salty, nutty flavor with a crisp yet chewy texture. I remembered how it added another texture when paired with the meat.

How were the kkodeulsal and samgyeopsal?
A serving robot brought our ordered meat to the table on a plate. Watching the robot approach the table was a small bit of fun during the meal.

The meat on the plate had a bright red color and clear marbling. The restaurant used a dedicated grill pan instead of charcoal, and my husband grilled the meat that day.

We put the kkodeulsal on the heated grill pan first. It cooked quickly, so we did not have to wait long, and its defining feature was the springy texture that popped as I chewed. I could taste the clean flavor of the lean meat together with the nuttiness of the fat.

I cut the samgyeopsal into bite-sized pieces and grilled it until crisp outside and juicy inside. It was full of meat juices, and to my taste it developed a savory flavor as I chewed, without any unpleasant smell or excessive greasiness.

We also grilled whole-leaf kimchi, bean sprouts, and bracken on one side of the grill pan. A lettuce wrap with samgyeopsal, grilled bracken and garlic, and Dubai chewy ssamjang brought together a nutty flavor and several textures.

What dessert did I receive through the event?
When I visited, I took part in the restaurant's event and received a dessert ice cream. The participation process felt simple.

The vanilla ice cream served after the meal was topped with Oreo cookie crumbs and kataifi. The crisp toppings added texture to the smooth ice cream, and I quickly finished the bowl.

What did I especially like about this family meal?
I liked being able to pair the chewy kkodeulsal and juicy grilled samgyeopsal with a variety of complimentary dishes. My child ate the flat dumplings and steamed egg custard well, and the generous table spacing and parking area made the meal comfortable. The staff were also friendly and quick, so I would like to come back with friends next time.
