I visited Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch with my child. We ordered samgyeopsal (pork belly) and kko-deul-sal, and I was pleased that there were side dishes we could share with our child while eating the meat.

Where is Taedon Geomdan Sageori Branch?
The restaurant is near Geomdan Sageori Station in Wangil-dong, on the first floor of Building B at 139 Wanjeong-ro. The listed hours are 11:30–22:00, and it is described as a salt-grilled meat restaurant using antibiotic-free Korean pork.

Was it convenient to visit by car with a child?
The parking area was spacious, so I had no trouble getting there by car. The open lot available for parking was also quite large, and a baby chair was prepared inside, making it easier to eat with a child.

How did we eat the samgyeopsal and kko-deul-sal?
That day, we ordered two cuts: samgyeopsal and kko-deul-sal. The samgyeopsal arrived first, and the meat looked good enough to make me look forward to eating it.

We grilled the meat together with bracken, kimchi, mushrooms, and musaengchae (seasoned shredded radish) on a wide grill plate. There was plenty of room even with several ingredients on it, so grilling was easy.

Grilling the side ingredients together with the meat made the overall flavor feel richer.

The samgyeopsal arrived already cut into easy-to-eat pieces, so it required less work. I liked its tender texture and savory fatty flavor.

Unlike the samgyeopsal, the kko-deul-sal had a springy texture from its firm fat. It had a satisfying chew and savory flavor, so alternating between the two cuts worked well.

Which side dishes went well with the meat?
The ssamjang (spicy dipping paste) had a thick texture and a sweet, salty flavor that went well with the meat.

Personally, I liked stir-frying the bracken together with the meat.

What did we eat besides the meat?
The steamed egg that came as a service item that day was good to share with a child. I was glad there was another dish to share besides the meat.

We cooked the flat dumplings in the samgyeopsal fat. Their savory flavor also went well with the meat.

Jjolmyeon (chewy spicy noodles) also came with the meal, adding a refreshing side.

We finished the meal with naengmyeon (cold noodles). It was refreshing after eating the meat, and I felt the overall value was reasonable because we could try several dishes together.

Was there dessert for a child?
Ice cream came as a service dessert. It was prepared so thoughtfully that it felt as if we had ordered a separate dessert.

It was vanilla ice cream topped with Oreo pieces, and the children enjoyed eating it.

What made the family meal satisfying?
The spacious parking area and baby chair made getting around and eating more convenient. The pre-cut samgyeopsal required less attention while grilling, and having dishes to share with a child—from steamed egg to ice cream—made this a satisfying family meal.
