On a spontaneous 2-night-3-day trip to Busan ◡̎ I found a café that genuinely makes me want to go back to Busan again just for it! The calming atmosphere, the Songjeong Beach train view you can only see in Busan, and all the different leaf teas and K-desserts — everything about this Songjeong café was perfect. 200% return-visit intent for Suwolgyeonghwa.

Where Suwolgyeonghwa is in Songjeong and how to get there

Suwolgyeonghwa sits in a red-brick building across from the Gudeokpo underpass in Songjeong. You order on the 4th floor, and the café uses both the 3rd and 4th floors.

• By bus >> 1-minute walk from 'KT Songjeong Tower' stop, 10-minute walk from 'Songjeong Beach Entrance' stop
• By subway >> Get off at Donghae Line 'Songjeong Station', transfer to bus 185, get off at 'KT Songjeong Tower'

3rd floor: hanok-style floor seats and group tables

You order on the 4th floor, but the 3rd floor overall has a quieter, more serene mood, and there's even a space where tea classes are held!

My favorite spot, filled with the calm, serene feel of a hanok (traditional Korean house). (The music suits the space so well too — definitely check the vibe out on video!) You naturally start speaking more quietly, and sitting on the floor facing forward with a warm tea felt almost meditative. I loved it ❤︎

The other side has spacious tables good for groups of 3-4. Each seat has its own small window so you can chat and still enjoy the pretty view ◡̎

4th floor: window walls on all sides and the beach train view

The 3rd floor was more my style, but the 4th floor is the main event of Suwolgyeonghwa!! Huge windows on all sides give it a fantastic sense of openness! You can properly soak in the beach train passing against the backdrop of Songjeong Beach ˃̶͈◡˂̶͈

Sitting at a window seat, there's this fun anticipation waiting for the beach train to pass :) Everyone gets a little busy when the train goes by haha

You can also check the beach train schedule via the QR code in-store, so use that as a reference haha. Since it passes on both sides, you can catch it 6 times an hour ◡̎ !!

Suwolgyeonghwa's Dalbodeure Box / Hyeonwol Hojicha / Hojigabae. The moment we sat down at our table, a train happened to pass by, eek ˃̶͈◡˂̶͈ Truly a perfectly magical moment !! ❤︎

Dalbodeure Box is genuinely the best ❤︎ How is it possible that it's filled with only things I love?! >> black rice sulbbang (rice cake), injeolmi, monaka, anbutter monaka, gamtae myeongnan financier. The plating is gorgeous, and every item's color and visuals are ദ്ദി

Even the cutlery felt very Suwolgyeonghwa haha

I genuinely love sulbbang, and this one is so moist and soft!! Inside the monaka they use French chocolate and French gourmet butter, so it truly tastes like an upscale dessert :) Especially if you bring your parents, you have to try this! They'll definitely love it!!

Hyeonwol Hojicha is a roasted green tea with a nutty, smoky aroma. It was incredibly smooth with really great depth of flavor ❤︎

So I ended up buying the Hyeonwol Hojicha teabags too. There was only one box left and the packaging was slightly damaged, so the staff gave me two other teas along with it!! Even the staff's thoughtfulness was nice ദ്ദി

Hojigabae. Roasted green tea (hojicha) with caffè latte and cream. Suwolgyeonghwa's signature menu item.

The tea was so good I ordered one more haha :) Lemon Sunset. A drink colored by hibiscus, painting a beautiful beachside sunset, with a lemony tartness and sweetness. Great aroma too, and it's the kind of taste that just lifts your mood ❤︎

When is Suwolgyeonghwa quiet? Go at the 11:00 weekday opening

I really envy myself from this moment ㅠㅠ A Busan Songjeong ocean-view café where you can get the shot of a lifetime !!! I went right at the weekday opening time, and there were barely any other people — it was so quiet that I got to enjoy the view and tea even more happily ◡̎

It gets really busy from around lunchtime onward.

The Dalbodeure Box was clearly popular haha. No surprise, it's Suwolgyeonghwa's signature !! Ah, I want to go eat it again … ^^
