Jocheon, Jeju noodle restaurant with a baby-food microwave: Myeonjumak
In short
Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch is a gogi-guksu (pork noodle soup) restaurant on Beonyeong-ro in Jocheon-eup, Jeju, near Eco Land, open only from 9am to 3pm. The meal here was gogi-guksu, gogi bibim guksu (spicy mixed pork noodles), a half order of dombe pork (sliced boiled Jeju black pork) and a free baby noodle bowl for children under 36 months, and the milky broth won over a baby who usually refuses soup. With parking for more than 100 cars, high chairs and a microwave for baby food, Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch works well as a breakfast stop before Eco Land.

We visited Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch, a great Jeju spot to bring a baby since they even give out free baby noodles to kids under 36 months~!
It's a well-known restaurant right near Eco Land, so it's a great little routine to stop in before Eco Land and fill up on Jeju gogi-guksu (pork noodle soup). We did exactly that before heading into Eco Land — had a solid meal at Myeonjumak first.

Parking at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch: room for more than 100 cars
Parking was easy — there's a wide open lot right in front of the restaurant. They apparently set aside a dedicated space for over 100 cars just so parking would be stress-free. Half-joking, but I heard some people even practice driving in the lot after their meal because it's that spacious, haha^^

Open 9am to 3pm — come before Eco Land, not after
This Eco Land-area restaurant, Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch, is only open from 9am to 3pm.
Since it's breakfast and lunch only, you really do have to swing by before Eco Land if you want to eat here. Everything is prepped fresh every morning, and I heard the owner — who actually holds a Level 1 organizing specialist certification — comes in alone at 4am every single day, no days off, to wipe down every corner of the place. Cleanliness matters a lot when you're bringing a kid, and you can really feel that meticulous care from the owner.

Visiting Myeonjumak with a baby: the self-serve family corner
Walking around Myeonjumak, you notice the owner's thoughtful touches everywhere — hair ties, disposable aprons, baby chairs, baby spoons, a baby-food microwave, a phone charging corner, stain remover, disposable mouthwash, all kinds of little services set up.

The place is bigger and roomier than I expected, so it works well for group meals too, and most tables were families. With free baby noodles for kids under 36 months, there were tons of people bringing babies just like us. Because of that, there were plenty of baby chairs on hand and we could use one without any hassle.

Dombe pork at Myeonjumak is 100% Jeju black pork — allow time for boiling
The dombe pork (sliced boiled pork) at Myeonjumak uses only 100% Jeju black pork, and it takes time to boil, so I'd recommend checking the timing and going when it's ready! If you want lean meat or fattier cuts specifically, just ask ahead and they'll prepare it accordingly!

What we ordered at Myeonjumak and how long the food took
We ordered gogi-guksu, gogi bibim guksu, baby noodles, and a half order of dombe pork~! Since it's noodle soup, I figured it would come out fast, but every dish is cooked to order, so it did take a bit of time to arrive.

They said the house water is muu-cha (radish tea), a tea made with radish, and it came out in this yellow barley-tea-like color — first time I learned radish tea could look like that! It was cool and refreshing, really tasty.

Half order of dombe pork: first to arrive, and the baby ate it
The half order of dombe pork arrived before the noodles. It's chewy, clean-tasting pork, and our baby ate it up really well. The fat and lean meat came together nicely for a fun texture, and there wasn't a hint of pork smell — clean and delicious!

The gogi-guksu also comes topped with dombe pork, but since the noodles are the main event, the amount of meat on top is pretty small — so if you love meat, I'd highly recommend ordering a half portion of dombe pork on the side like we did!

Milky gogi-guksu broth even a soup-refusing baby drank up
While we were busy wrapping dombe pork in lettuce, the gogi-guksu, gogi bibim guksu, and baby noodles all arrived together. You can see how milky the gogi-guksu broth is! Rich and really delicious — such a deep, hearty broth that I even fed some to the baby, and she ate it right up! She usually doesn't touch soup broth, but she took to Myeonjumak's gogi-guksu broth just fine!

With one bowl of noodles each plus the dombe pork, we finished a hearty meal and headed off to Jeju Eco Land~! Since this place is right by Eco Land, stopping here to fill up before exploring the park is such a great little routine.
