Hanam izakaya with Misa Lake views and crab miso seafood: Haruto
In short
Haruto (하루토) is a traditional Japanese izakaya right in front of Misa Lake Park, near Misa Station in Hanam, Gyeonggi. At Haruto we ordered the seasonal sashimi platter at 36,000 won and kanimiso korayaki at 26,000 won — seafood stir-fried in snow crab guts sauce — with a yuzu chuhai at 26,000 won, and the crab sauce was rich rather than fishy, so we scraped the pan clean. With jazz playing in an antique-styled room and a lake view outside, Haruto suits both a date and a group night out.

Misa izakaya, Misa Station restaurant and bar recommendation: Haruto
Right in front of Misa Lake Park, this is a place for a special evening with an open view!

Izakaya Haruto is more than just a place to eat — it's a genuine izakaya where you can enjoy the atmosphere and the food together.

If you've been looking for a Misa Station restaurant and bar, please stick with this review to the end 🙂
Where is Haruto, and how is the Misa Lake Park view?
Haruto is located at 181 Misagangbyeon-jungang-ro, 1F Unit 121, Hanam-si, near Misa Station, so it's really easy to get to. Walk in and the first thing that grabs you is the soft jazz music playing~!

The warmth typical of a Japanese-style izakaya blends with jazzy props and antique interior touches to create a stylish, hip space.

In the evening, you can see Misa Lake Park through the window, and having a drink while looking out, before you know it the drinks just go down smoothly with the atmosphere. I'd recommend the outdoor terrace seating too!

We had gone swimming at Misa Lake Park, and after cooling off and playing, having a drink alongside our favorite sashimi and guts dishes felt like the ultimate healing.

What is on the menu at Haruto?

Haruto's signatures are the seasonal sashimi platter and abalone-guts pasta! There's a wide selection of alcohol too — shochu, nihonshu, draft beer, highballs, and chuhai — so both those who don't know much about drinks and true enthusiasts can be satisfied.

🥢 What we ordered
- Seasonal sashimi platter ₩36,000
- Kanimiso korayaki ₩26,000
- Yuzu chuhai
Seasonal sashimi platter, 36,000 won: which fish do you get?

Seasonal sashimi platter / ₩36,000. A 10-kind assorted platter made only with the best fish of the season.

The fish varieties can change a bit by season — when we visited it included bluefin tuna tataki, flounder, sea bream, sweet shrimp, sea bass, scallop, Spanish mackerel, abalone, cuttlefish, and salmon.
Every single piece was thick and soft. The sea bream in particular was thick yet tender. The squid sashimi had an amazing chewy texture.
Kanimiso korayaki, 26,000 won: seafood in snow crab guts sauce

Kanimiso korayaki / ₩26,000. A dish of various seafood stir-fried in crab guts sauce — it was seriously incredible.

It's rich and thick without being fishy at all, so I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who likes offal-type dishes.

It's much better dipped in baguette, so we ordered extra bread to go with it.
💡 TIP! Order extra bread with the kanimiso korayaki and dip it in the sauce — it's so much better that way!

We really love guts dishes, but usually if it's not done well, it can end up fishy, smelly, and heavy.

But Haruto's was so rich we scraped the plate clean down to the bottom. It's a dish that's hard to make at home, so finding a spot this good for guts dishes made us really happy. We already promised ourselves a next visit.
How strong is the yuzu chuhai?

Yuzu chuhai / ₩26,000. We had this alongside the food, and it wasn't strong at all. I was expecting something like a highball when I ordered it, and partway through drinking I found myself wishing it had more of a spirits kick — then I noticed the menu name was actually 'yuzu chuhai.' There's a separate shot-add option, so next time I think I'll try adding a shot.
The verdict on Haruto in one line

If you love guts dishes, you have to go to Haruto! It's a view spot right in front of Misa Lake Park with a jazz atmosphere on top, making it a Misa Station restaurant and bar that works perfectly for a date course or a family/friend gathering. With fresh ingredients and careful cooking, the quality is high — I'm 100% planning to come back~!
