Where is Eight Years Pangyo in Baekhyeon-dong?
Eight Years Pangyo (에잇이얼스 판교점) is a brunch restaurant tucked into a quiet alley inside the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo. Today I'm introducing a Pangyo brunch favorite: Eight Years Pangyo.

There are a lot of brunch cafés on this street, and Eight Years keeps getting steady word of mouth for its sandwiches and pasta.
What I liked most was the opening time. Most brunch places around here open at 11, but this one opens at 9am, so an early brunch is possible. 😀
Where to park at Eight Years Pangyo
You can park in the spots in front of and beside the shop, but there isn't much room, so please leave your phone number if you double-park. If there's no space, park at the Baekhyeon-dong public parking lot and bring your receipt to get 1 hour covered.
Indoor seating and terrace atmosphere
Step inside and it feels much cleaner and more stylish than it looks from outside. Soft lighting and fresh green plants made it a space that puts you in a good mood from the morning.

Tables seat two to four with generous spacing, so coming alone doesn't feel awkward at all, and with high chairs and kids' tableware, it's easy to visit with children too.
The self-serve bar has wet wipes, sauces and even jalapeños, so you can help yourself to whatever you need. You order at a kiosk, but there's also a paper menu, so feel free to pick at your seat first and order afterward.
Dog-friendly outdoor terrace by Bomulseom Children's Park
The biggest charm of Eight Years is, of course, the outdoor terrace. 🩵 It's split into a yard-side terrace with parasols and a deck terrace overlooking the park.
With big pine trees, green plants and string lights that come on in the evening, it feels like sitting in a garden. It connects right to Bomulseom Children's Park next door, so it's especially popular with families who come with kids.
Dogs are allowed on the terrace only, so please keep that in mind. On hot days like these, though, indoors is far more comfortable, so choose your seat by season and you'll be happier.
Eight Years Pangyo menu and prices
Eight Years says it brings in ingredients directly from Garak Market every week and prepares them the same day. The ciabatta is baked in-house without preservatives, which makes it easy to trust when you're looking for a Pangyo brunch.

Brunch for two for ₩35,000: what we ordered
We ordered the pork mozzarella tomato rigatoni, the ham bacon ciabatta sandwich and two iced Americanos. ₩35,000 for two is pretty reasonable for a Pangyo brunch.

Pork mozzarella tomato rigatoni
The pork mozzarella tomato rigatoni's signature is its tomato sauce, which they say is simmered in-house for four hours.

Chunky rigatoni topped with plenty of mozzarella, charred until it looks fire-kissed. I couldn't just walk past that look. 🫢 The tomato sauce is clearly different from store-bought sauce. A deep sweetness comes first rather than tartness, then a slightly spicy aftertaste lingers, so I kept going back for more.

With big pieces of pork and whole cherry tomatoes, there's plenty to chew on, and one plate was really filling. Spread the cheese through the sauce and fill the inside of the rigatoni with it, and that's the real treat.

Ham and bacon ciabatta sandwich
When you order the ham bacon ciabatta sandwich, they ask how many pieces you want it cut into, so we asked for four. The ciabatta is pressed crisp on the outside and packed with ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato and lettuce,

and on top of that there are crunchy apple slices and mushrooms stacked in layers. Take a bite and the freshness of the apple pops in between the salty ham and nutty cheese, so it never gets tiring. 😄

A faint basil pesto aroma drifts through it, so I enjoyed it right down to the ends of the bread. A salad comes alongside, dressed with balsamic, which was just right for cutting the richness.

The portion is really generous, so much that one person eating a whole sandwich alone would be a bit much.
