Today I visited "Olibus Italian Restaurant," a Sejong restaurant that's perfect for dates. Cute, stylish interior, a melt-in-your-mouth steak, and a deeply savory octopus ink risotto: shall we go have a lunch with a seriously good look? Go Go!

Olibus Italian Restaurant: location, hours and parking

Olibus Italian Restaurant is at 232 Gareum-ro, SBC Center Building B, Unit 113, Sejong. It's open every day from 11:00 to 20:30 (break time 15:00–17:00). Naver reservations, parking, takeout and delivery are all available.

Exterior

Covered in Blue Ribbons, Olibus is a Sejong favorite that those in the know already know. You can taste properly made Italian dishes, cooked in-house with seasonal ingredients. Parking is easy too, so it's a place I come to often.

Interior atmosphere

Cozy and tidy, Olibus would be just right for a date with your partner. It's full of cute little touches, so it's also nice for a family meal out.

What did we order for lunch at Olibus?

I visited at lunchtime and ordered the lunch steak & pasta set (one pasta + flatiron steak + 2 drinks). On top of that, I added my beloved rocket potato pizza!

How tender is the Olibus flatiron steak?

Oh, this one is a must, a absolute must-order if you come to Olibus: the flatiron steak. How can it possibly be this tender? The grilled vegetables and chimichurri go so well with the steak too!

Can you see how softly it slices? It's really delicious with the sauce that comes alongside. I fell for the clean, nutty flavor of this steak...

The meat is so tender that I cleaned my plate down to the last bite. No gamey smell at all, just clean and nutty, a flavor both kids and adults would like.

The texture of Olibus's signature octopus ink risotto

This one is a strong recommendation too. Olibus's signature octopus ink risotto! The savory ink sauce has soaked right into the rice. It's not a mushy, porridge-like texture; each grain still pops, which made it even better.

Look at the size of that octopus! It's even two octopus legs. They were so plump I worried they'd be tough, but they were tender enough to slice with barely a touch of the knife. It's number one in my heart, so I'll definitely come back for it.

What does the rocket potato pizza taste like?

We can't skip the pizza, right? Packed with rocket, it's a bacon potato pizza. With so much fresh rocket on top, it felt really substantial to eat. The dough is light and clean, so it didn't feel heavy afterward and I was very satisfied.

Loaded with healthy, good ingredients, it's fresher and lighter, totally my style! It really has a homemade feel, which makes "Olibus Italian" a nice Sejong restaurant for dates or for visiting with kids.

We finished with a refreshing lemonade, of course! With such clean, light, distinctive quality, my family and I had a happy, filling lunch.
