In short
Yukmidangchan (육미당찬) is an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant on Taejong-ro in Yeongdo, Busan, right at the foot of Yeongdo Bridge. Before trekking Huinnyeoul Culture Village, the writer had lunch on Yukmidangchan's Premium menu, picking from kkotmoksal (marbled pork neck), naengsam (thin frozen pork belly) and marinated chicken neck through to thin-sliced beef belly and brisket. Yukmidangchan offers a wide range of good-quality meat for a buffet, which makes it a good fit for a day when you want a hearty meal in Yeongdo.

On the day I went trekking at Huinnyeoul Culture Village, I searched for somewhere to eat lunch and one place stood out. Lots of reviews said the meat was good quality for an all-you-can-eat spot, and since I'd be walking a lot, I thought, let's fill up properly, and changed course right away. If you're looking for a Yeongdo BBQ place near Huinnyeoul Village, give Yukmidangchan (육미당찬) a try.

Yukmidangchan location and opening hours
Yukmidangchan is at 75 Taejong-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan, on the first floor. It's open 11:30 to 23:30, with last order at 22:30. It sits at the start of Yeongdo Bridge, so it's easy to reach from Nampo and Jagalchi, and the orange entrance is easy to spot from far away.
Where do you park for Yukmidangchan?
There's no private parking, so I parked at the nearby Bongnae-dong Mulyangjang public parking lot (₩300 per 10 minutes). It's a short walk, so it wasn't inconvenient.
Yukmidangchan interior and seating
I was surprised at how spacious it is inside. A group of foreign tourists and I happened to arrive at the same time and we all went in together, yet it never felt cramped or stuffy.
The tables are nicely spaced and the lighting is soft, so the mood was calmer than I expected.

When I opened the drawer with the cutlery, there was a tablet inside, which was kind of fun, haha. A hall this big isn't common among Yeongdo BBQ restaurants, I think.

Yukmidangchan buffet prices: Signature vs Premium
The menu is split into Signature and Premium. Signature is ₩16,900 for weekday lunch and ₩18,900 for dinner and holidays; Premium is ₩21,900 for weekday lunch and ₩23,900 for dinner and holidays.
- Signature: ₩16,900 weekday lunch / ₩18,900 dinner and holidays
- Premium: ₩21,900 weekday lunch / ₩23,900 dinner and holidays
- Unlimited soju: +₩5,000 per person
I ordered Premium to fill up before the trek. You can add unlimited soju for ₩5,000 per person, but I had come by car during the day, so sadly I skipped it.

For an evening company dinner, I could see it being a great deal, with plenty of side dishes and drinks too.

You get 2 hours, and it's a self-service counter where you bring the food to your table yourself.

The meat I ate at Yukmidangchan
Signature section: kkotmoksal pork neck, naengsam and marinated chicken neck
In the Signature section I started with kkotmoksal (flower pork neck) and naengsam (thin-sliced unfrozen-style pork belly). The flower pork neck gives off a nutty aroma when grilled, and the naengsam keeps its signature chewy texture, so both plates were empty in no time.
The self-serve bar also has hash browns, tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) and ham, so it was fun to grill those in between.
There are lots of choices, including marinated chicken neck, marinated pork ribs and pork skin, and picking was really fun. The marinated chicken neck was especially good.

Premium section: thin-sliced beef belly, brisket, kkotdwaeji pork and top round
In the Premium section I brought back usamgyeop daepae (thin-sliced beef belly) and chadol daepae (thin-sliced brisket), and beef really is different, haha. The thinly shaved beef cooks fast and tastes rich and tender.

Other Premium meats like flower pork daepae and top round (seolgit) daepae each tasted different, so there was no time to get bored.

Finishing with spicy Jin Ramen
I finished with a bowl of spicy Jin Ramen, slurped up the broth, and walked out completely full.

I never expected a Yeongdo BBQ meal to feel this satisfying, haha.
Is the Yukmidangchan Premium menu worth it?
What I liked about Yukmidangchan is the wide choice of meats, and the quality is clearly good for an all-you-can-eat place.

Even Signature alone has plenty to eat, so I don't think you have to choose Premium. But if you love beef belly or brisket, you can definitely get your money's worth from Premium.
Who Yukmidangchan is best for
- Days when you want to fill up at a Yeongdo BBQ place
- People looking for a spot for a company dinner or group gathering
- People who care about value for money
- When you're coming with someone who likes picking from many kinds
On the other hand, if you want a quiet, cozy meal, you may need to watch your timing. It could get quite busy when there are lots of group customers.

If you're planning a trip to Huinnyeoul Village, add Yukmidangchan to your route. I filled up well and trekked well too, so it was a day where I caught two birds with one stone.
