Magok Mexican restaurant with cilantro on request: Taqueros, Seoul

On a day when I wanted something a little different from my usual food ❤ my top pick is always Mexican.

I especially love fajita, where you roll up tortillas with whatever meat and veggies you want however you like — and I found a Magok spot that nails both the vibe and the value 😍

This is Taqueros Magok Main Branch. The vibe and the value were both spot on, and it honestly felt like I'd stepped into Mexico for a moment. The taste and the service were so satisfying that I've already saved it as my next Magok date spot.

Where Taqueros Magok Main Branch is and where to park

Taqueros is close to Exit 3 of Magok Station, so it's easy to reach by public transit :) There's also underground parking in the building, so it's great if you're driving. It's on the 2nd floor of Magok GMG Tower — just take the elevator up and you're there.

As soon as I got to the 2nd floor, the bold red exterior of Taqueros caught my eye right away. There were chairs set up for waiting too, and it genuinely felt like arriving at a real Mexican restaurant — I was excited before I even walked in.

Inside Taqueros: interior and seating

The inside was bigger than I expected, and there was group seating too, so it seemed like a great spot for a family restaurant outing on the weekend, or a date after visiting Seoul Botanic Park, or even a team dinner!

The sofa seating, the framed photos on the walls, and the background music all gave off a vacation-resort feel that naturally lifted the mood.

The clean open kitchen meant the food was cooked right after ordering, and the staff's kindness was top-tier too!

The Taqueros Magok menu and how we ordered

Ordering was done via QR code at the table. The single dishes were reasonably priced, and there were set menus for a hearty meal too. I went for the Taqueros Signature Couple Set, and wow... it's genuinely a filling spread even for three people 😍 (of course we finished it all)

They also had various alcohol, from tequila to soju, so it's a good spot for a drink with dinner too.

Just a heads-up: you can get Nutella tortilla chips and ice cream for dessert through the receipt review event ❤

What comes in the Taqueros signature couple set

Tada, ordering the set brought two kinds of tacos, a fajita, and nachos with sauces. The ade costs an extra +₩3,500, so we got one to share 😍

Dipping nacho chips into cheese sauce is a flavor that calls for beer, no question...❤

And then came the two tacos — fish and chicken — plus the fajita.

The fajita came with chicken, shrimp, beef and pork all evenly spread in one pan ❤ I didn't expect it to be this fun to pick and choose from!

Underneath there was rice and vegetables too, so wrapping it all up in a tortilla was pure bliss.

The tortillas and sauces that came with the fajita were all refillable ❤ (except guacamole) but they gave us plenty of guacamole anyway, along with sour cream, salsa and other sauces, so we never ran short. (I asked for refills as much as I wanted 😎)

Asking for cilantro, and tacos the size of a forearm

They had disposable gloves ready, and when I asked separately for cilantro they brought it over so kindly 😍 genuinely touched by that.

And then the taco that was literally as big as my forearm. Wow, I've never seen a taco packed this generously before? It was seriously huge and seriously delicious, filling enough that one alone would satisfy you — even a big eater would have no complaints about the portion here.

Taqueros, a Magok Mexican restaurant, was thoroughly satisfying from the vibe to the taste. I felt like I'd found exactly the right place 😍 I love Mexican food and have been to plenty of spots, but this one was clean, had great interior, nailed the flavors, and served generous portions — 200 percent satisfaction ❤

It's a great spot for a weekend family outing or a Magok date 😎 The pork ribs were sold out that day so I couldn't try them — I'll have to challenge them next time 🔅
