I was craving a burger in Sinchon, so this time I stopped by Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch 🍔💛 It's near Yonsei University so it's pretty accessible, and it seemed like a good spot for a simple meal at lunch or dinner.

This Sinchon favorite, Bas Burger Yonsei Cancer Hospital Branch, felt clean and casual overall. Instead of an over-decorated feel, it was the kind of comfortable space where you can just sit down and eat, which made it look good for solo dining too 👀

Since the Sinchon area has a lot of students and office workers passing through, it felt like a good place for a quick meal! Nice to come with a friend, but also totally fine to just eat a burger by yourself 😊

The Bas Burger menu and what we ordered

Bas Burger has more variety than I expected! From the classic Bas Burger to the Double Bas Burger with two patties, a Hawaiian burger with pineapple, and a Sriracha Cheese Burger with cheese and spicy sauce 🍔

If you like mushrooms, the Mushroom Burger is recommended too! There's also a Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger with shrimp, so there's plenty to choose from depending on your taste 🦐 That day I ordered the Greed Burger combo + Bas Burger ✨

Free fries and the self-serve sauce bar

There was one point about Bas Burger that quietly won me over 👀 free fries! 🥔✨ It's great that they give you fries for free when you order a burger. When a burger alone feels like it's not quite enough, getting fries with it too feels like a total win.

The crispy fries tasted even better eaten together with the burger. Fries are a must when eating a burger, and getting them for free feels like one of Bas Burger's real strengths 🫶🏻

How does the Greed Burger combo taste?

The menu I was most curious about that day was the Greed Burger combo. Even the name makes you feel like you're supposed to eat until you're properly full haha. With burgers, how good the patty is really matters, and here the meaty flavor of the patty came through nicely. Even just the burger alone was more filling than expected, and ordering the combo meant I got sides with it too, making it a perfect single meal 🍔🍟 If you're visiting on a hungry day, I'd recommend the Greed Burger combo!

What kind of burger is the plain Bas Burger?

I also tried the Bas Burger I ordered alongside it. If you like handmade burgers, this is a style you can enjoy without any complaints. The patty, bun, and sauce all came together well, and the combination worked nicely in one bite 👍🏻

Rather than a bold or intense flavor, it's the kind of burger where you can comfortably enjoy the taste of the burger itself! Ordering two different menu items and sharing them meant I got to enjoy two different flavors, which was even better. If you're visiting with others, ordering different burger types to share seems like a good idea too 🫶🏻

Sinchon has so many good restaurants that it can actually be hard to decide what to eat. If a burger is what you're craving in that moment, this Sinchon favorite, Bas Burger, seems like a solid choice.

I'd especially recommend it to people near Yonsei University looking for a simple but filling meal, or anyone near Sinchon Station looking for a place to eat solo. Burgers are easy to eat, but with a proper patty inside, it ends up being more filling than you'd expect 🤍

It seemed like a good spot for office workers to visit during lunch, and for students to stop by before or after class. Also good for when you just want a burger after work in the evening!
