Lip tattoo studio in Seocho, Seoul: dark lip color at Lamoon Brow
In short
Lamoon Brow is a lip tattoo studio about a three-minute walk from Exit 5 of Gangnam Station in Seocho, Seoul. I chose a Winter Cool color after a personal-color consultation; the process took about two hours, and after peeling, the softer color looked natural even without makeup.

Why did I choose a lip tattoo for dark lips?
My lips are usually dark and lack color, so I often heard that I looked unwell. I had considered a lip tattoo before, but hesitated because I was worried about the pain. Wanting a change of pace, I visited Lamoon Brow (라문브로우) in Gangnam.
How do you get there from Gangnam Station, and is parking available?
The studio is in Suite 412 on the fourth floor at 42 Seocho-daero 78-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul. It was easy to find, about a three-minute walk from Exit 5 of Gangnam Station on the Shinbundang Line.
The hours posted when I visited were 11:00–21:00 Monday through Saturday, with Sundays closed. Outdoor or mechanical parking was available in the building, at ₩1,200 per 10 minutes.
How did I choose a color for dark lips?
Before the procedure, I first had a one-on-one consultation. They looked at my usual makeup style and the colors of the lip products I use, and also did a simple personal-color assessment.
I was assessed as having a cool tone, so we decided on a direction based on a slightly more saturated Winter Cool color.
We talked through the look and tone I wanted before starting, which put me at ease even though it was my first lip tattoo.
How painful was it, and how long did it take?
They applied plenty of pain-relief cream before starting. For me, it felt like a slight prickling sensation and hurt less than I had expected.
It took about two hours including the consultation. I became drowsy during the procedure and was half asleep.
What was the lip color like immediately after and after peeling?
Right after the procedure, the color was vivid, and I worried it might look unnatural. But when I checked in the mirror, I liked how naturally it suited my skin tone—more than I had expected.
I received aftercare instructions, along with moisturizer and lip balm. I was worried that care would be difficult, but the consultation explained that keeping my lips well moisturized was important.
The studio explained that about 60–70% of the color would fade as peeling progressed. What I noticed was that, once peeling had mostly finished, the color became much lighter and looked natural even on a bare face.
Afterward, even clear lip balm made my lips look more lively. I felt more confident on days when I did not wear makeup, and people around me sometimes said that something looked different.
At first, I was worried about the pain and the strong color right afterward, but in my case, I was pleased with the natural color that remained after peeling.
