Seongsu Western restaurant for a date lunch: ₩49,700 Vite Set, Brivite

Let me recommend a date course in Seongsu!

Every time I come out to Seongsu I have the same dilemma: what to eat for lunch... Everywhere is packed, and I don't want to just wander into any old place. So this time I decided to have a proper Western meal and went to Brivite Seongsu. When I got there, there were honestly so many couples. Brivite Seongsu is a date-course restaurant, no doubt about it!

Where is Brivite Seongsu, and what about parking?

Brivite Seongsu is at 5-1 Sangwon 6-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul (1st floor). From Exits 3 and 4 of Ttukseom Station, just walk a little way in and you'll be there. It's about a 5-minute walk, so access isn't bad at all. If you're driving, the restaurant has no parking, so I'd suggest using a nearby car park or asking them beforehand. I visited on June 30, 2026.

Walking down the street, the pink, dreamy-looking shop catches your eye right away.

It has a bit of an overseas beach vibe! Even from outside you can tell it's busy. I went at weekday lunchtime.

Brivite Seongsu atmosphere and seating

Brivite Seongsu is bigger than I expected, with tables for 2 and tables for 4, and the staff seat you according to your party size.

Overall it's clean, and the mood is definitely great for a date!

There's also a self-serve corner, so you fetch your own pickles and water.

Brivite Seongsu Beet Set: what's in it and the price

The Brivite Seongsu Beet Set is ₩49,700 for two, and it comes with porcini shrimp gnocchi, bacon cream pasta and spicy fried eggplant, plus two drinks. The menu is mostly Western, with pasta, gnocchi, fried dishes and more, and there are set menus, so it's easy to mix and match. There were two of us, so I ordered the Beet Set.

For what you get, it's a decent price! The only side dish is the pickles from the self bar, and as you eat they cut the richness, so I kept going back for more.

Bacon cream pasta: how big is the portion?

The bacon cream pasta at Brivite Seongsu is seriously big. For a Western restaurant in Seongsu, there's absolutely no feeling that the portion is small!

The bacon comes in big chunks and the seasoning is just right, so it's an easy taste for anyone.

A safe pick for a date!

Porcini shrimp gnocchi: 100% I'd reorder

The dish I recommend most in the Beet Set is the porcini shrimp gnocchi. This one I really recommend! It's crispy outside and chewy inside, with a properly handmade feel, and the mushroom and shrimp combination goes together much better than I expected.

Even if you're new to gnocchi, it's easy to enjoy, and I'd reorder the porcini shrimp gnocchi 100%.

Spicy fried eggplant: fine even if you dislike eggplant?

The spicy fried eggplant at Brivite Seongsu isn't very hot. It's fried to order, so it arrives super hot and crispy! You barely taste the eggplant, so even people who don't like eggplant should be fine with it!

It's even better dipped in the sauce!

Is Brivite Seongsu a good Seongsu date course?

If you're looking for a Western restaurant for a date in Seongsu, try Brivite Seongsu! Atmosphere, taste and portions are all good overall. There were lots of couples, and it was just right as a date course. If you have a Seongsu date planned, consider adding it to your route.
