It only opened in June, so the inside was really clean and sparkling, and I loved it from the first impression :)

What do the side dishes look like?

The banchan (side dishes) were neatly prepared too. Several kinds of kimchi, sliced onions and a variety of sauces, perfect to mix and match to your taste! 🤭

Menu and prices: what the three of us ordered

I went with my mom and dad, so there were three of us.

The 1kg beef platter in particular comes with a generous mix of cuts, including kkotsaeu-sal, salchi-sal and jebichuri, and it's only ₩88,000?! If you're a group of 3-4, I really recommend this one!

Tasting review: the beef platter arrives with dry ice

The meat came out not long after we ordered, and... wow... "Is this paradise?"

It arrives with dry ice billowing across the plate, and the mood instantly lifted the moment the food landed. We were all amazed.

Let's start grilling with the salchi-sal! Can you see the color..? From the thickness to the juiciness, it was practically a steak! The quality was really good.

While we were busy eating the meat, the kkakdugi pot rice came out too.

What is prime grade?

Prime grade is the top grade, from the youngest cattle, with rich marbling, and only about 3% of all beef produced reaches it, so it's rare.

The beef in the 1kg platter is rare prime grade!

I tried it with wasabi, with scallion salad, in all kinds of combinations, and every one was delicious. My dad, who is picky about meat, kept saying "this place is pretty good!" and praising it.

And the best combo I found: white rice + beef + pickled perilla leaves (kkaennip jangajji)! The salty pickled perilla and the tender beef go so well together.

Free corkage, so wine is welcome

We had a family "cheers!" 😛 and what I liked even more is that Sogogi Twist Yeongtong District Office Branch has free corkage!

Next time I think bringing wine and enjoying it together would be no burden at all.

Yum, the kkotsaeu-sal and jebichuri too~ and we finished with a doenjang stew packed with meat! Considering beef prices these days, it's seriously great value...

Beef is often too pricey to eat freely, but here you get a hefty 1kg and the meat is really tender, so I was very satisfied. It was even better that it won over my parents' tastes.

Whether it's a family dinner or a company outing, this is a place I can confidently recommend! Our family was so happy that we talked about coming back next time.
