Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong is on the 1st floor at 29-1 Samsan-ro 241beon-gil, Nam-gu, Ulsan, and is open daily 10:30–22:00. One car can park in front, and the nearby Daehyeon Middle School parking lot is free on weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends.

We'd been to Taehwagang Park in Ulsan, it was way too hot, and we wanted chicken and beer, so we searched and found Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong ✨️✨️ True to the name (Daehan means Korea), there's a Taegukgi, the Korean flag, painted on it.

You can park about one car in front. We used the nearby Daehyeon Middle School parking lot. It's free on weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends ><

Is it a comfortable bar to visit with a child?

Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong has a spacious interior, wide tables, sofa seats and even baby chairs, so it's good with kids. We went with our 6-year-old son and were comfortable the whole time.

The interior is roomy 🎶🎶 It's been a while since I've had a beer place where I could relax. Those noisy, packed-in places like Hal-maek (cheap beer spots) are getting too tiring for me now that I'm older, haha. I love a place like this ><❣️❣️

The tables are really wide and there are sofa seats too, so it's great with kids. They have baby chairs as well‼️‼️

Watching baseball and the World Cup with a drink in Daldong, Ulsan

Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong has big screens, so it's great for watching baseball‼️ Plenty of customers were there for the game that day, haha. Everyone grumbling about Lotte together... hahaha, sob 😭😭

There's a World Cup match against South Africa at 10 on the 25th. On the 25th they open at 9 am⭐️⭐️⭐️ Entry is first come, first served, haha. They show the World Cup live, so it'd be fun to cheer together.

They also have party supplies, so it's great for a birthday party ><

Mini fans, phone chargers and other handy extras are well stocked. If this were in my neighborhood, it'd be the perfect bar to pop into in slippers.

Isn't the restroom just so pretty..... It looks like a café 😍🫶🫶

Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong has a very wide chicken menu: cauldron chicken, oven chicken, barbecue chicken, dakgangjeong (sweet crispy fried chicken) and more. That day we ordered boneless K-chicken, Gungmin Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), pine sherbet and peach cream draft beer.

As a proper chicken place, the chicken menu is huge ✨️ Isn't this basically a chicken restaurant? haha It took ages to choose with so many kinds 🌈

The free side snack is sugar nurungji (crispy scorched rice)? Haha, perfect with beer hahaha. It was so good I got a refill haha.

Ahh, I downed half a glass, then the rest in one go, haha. Sweet and delicious >< Recommended, recommended!

How did the K-chicken taste?

The K-chicken at Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong is made with scallion, garlic and jocheong (Korean rice syrup) sauce, giving a sweet, savory depth ✨️✨️ Crispy outside, juicy inside, tossed in a thick, sweet garlic sauce. So delicious‼️‼️

You could call this a chicken restaurant rather than a beer place. It's totally different from delivery chicken. So hot and tender, sob. The chicken seems fresh and good quality too. Why isn't there one in Busan? haha

The K-chicken has a thin, crispy coating and super tender meat. I want to come back for the other chickens too, sob. Eating it while watching baseball was real healing ✨️✨️ So refreshing and delicious, sob.

Dipped in that thick garlic sauce, it's sweet and so good. I don't like sweet things, but this isn't an overwhelming sweetness, which I liked ❣️ There's a reason it's the bestseller.

It goes nicely with crunchy chili peppers too. It isn't that spicy, so even my 6-year-old, who can't handle spice, ate it well‼️

Gungmin Tteokbokki, ₩14,000: portion and taste

The Gungmin Tteokbokki at Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong is ₩14,000 and comes loaded with gimmari (fried glass-noodle seaweed rolls) and dumplings ✨️✨️ People around us kept ordering it, so we tried it, and it's practically a meal? hahaha

The gimmari are big and full. Dunk them in the tteokbokki sauce and they're hot and tasty. Crispy outside, packed with glass noodles inside ✨️✨️

The tteokbokki isn't very spicy, just sweet and spicy 🤭 It's the soupy style rather than thick‼️‼️ The rice cakes are chewy and it's loaded, so good value. You can add ramen noodles (+₩1,000). But the chicken is so good that I personally recommend the chicken more, haha 👍👍 The chicken is insanely delicious 💯💯💯💯

Pine sherbet to finish

We didn't want to go home yet, so we tried the pine sherbet, haha. It's studded with pineapple bits. Yummy >< Perfect as a palate-cleansing finish.

Pretty deep, right⁉️ There's quite a lot of it, haha. A fresh, sweet finish.
