Creamy mushroom soup at Que Sera, a brunch restaurant in Jamsil
In short
Que Sera is a brunch restaurant at Jamsil Hagwon-sageori in Songpa, Seoul, between Jamsilsaenae and Samjeon stations and close to Seokchon Lake. One chef cooks alone in a fully open kitchen, and this visit covered the Q open sandwich, the fish cutlet sandwich plate and a mushroom soup made with plenty of milk and fresh cream that came out thick and deeply savoury. Last order at Que Sera is 5pm, so it really is a place to visit during brunch hours.

Que Sera is a Jamsil brunch spot near Seokchon Lake where you can enjoy genuinely delicious brunch. I had a really great time eating good brunch at this Seokchon Lake favorite haha.ㅎ

Where is Que Sera? Between Jamsilsaenae and Samjeon stations
Que Sera, a brunch favorite near Seokchon Lake, sits near Jamsil Hagwon-sageori, between Jamsilsaenae station and Samjeon station.

Que Sera, a Jamsil brunch favorite, has a European feel right from the entrance.

Since this place specializes in coffee and brunch, last order is 5pm and there's no dinner service — closing much earlier than a regular restaurant, so it's really a place to visit specifically for brunch.

Inside Que Sera: open kitchen and wood-toned interior
The interior feels quiet, with a fully open kitchen so you can watch the food being made.

The overall interior is wood-toned and warm, making Que Sera a good pick for a date spot near Jamsil's Seokchon Lake.

The interior is on the small side, with only about 5–6 tables, so expect some waiting at peak times — worth keeping in mind! I especially liked the round window in the back with a view of green trees, which felt fresh and pleasant.
Que Sera, this Jamsil brunch favorite, even has a certification mark for French culinary education on display.

Wine bottles filling the store!!!!
Brunch with wine, how great is that!!!!
Both coffee cups and wine glasses are neatly arranged.

How to order at Que Sera and the 2-hour limit
Que Sera, a Songridan-gil favorite, is ordered via the QR code on the table. There's also a paper menu at the counter for reference. With so many brunch options, you get to enjoy the happy dilemma of choosing what to order! Hahaha.
Be sure to join the Naver receipt review event — you get onion rings for it! Que Sera, this Seokchon Lake date spot, is run by a single chef, so if orders pile up there may be a wait before food comes out — worth keeping in mind. Since the space isn't large, dining time is limited to 2 hours, and evening hours or venue reservations need a separate inquiry.
After finishing your meal, return your tray at the return counter.

Que Sera, this Jamsil brunch specialist, sells Belgian dark chocolate scones, Madagascar vanilla bean egg scones, plain English muffins, and tangzhong milk bread made with a levain starter. The milk bread was genuinely delicious, which is probably why it was sold out haha.
The restroom is outside the shop, but the cute touch is that they give you tissue to bring along!
Side plates and water are self-serve from the bar.
Ordering the Q open sandwich, fish cutlet plate and mushroom soup
Que Sera, a Songpa-gu brunch favorite, serves food in a rattan basket.

I ordered two mains and a mushroom soup.
The Q open sandwich is the shop's signature brunch dish. It's made with house-made tangzhong milk bread grilled in garlic butter, topped with omelette, cauliflower, bacon, and a special sauce — reportedly the most popular brunch item.

I also ordered the fish cutlet sandwich plate, made with domestic cod cutlet, house-made tartar sauce and wasabi sauce, along with arugula, romaine, tomato, carrot rapée, roasted vegetables, and a mini salad — a really varied plate.

Why the thick mushroom soup is the one to order
The mushroom soup, loaded with milk and cream, was so, so thick and delicious — good good!!!!
If you visit Que Sera, definitely order the mushroom soup!!! The deep flavor really came through and it was so good haha.

The fish cutlet sandwich made with soft, fluffy English muffins.
It's packed with all kinds of vegetables, so it was really delicious to eat.
The fish cutlet made with domestic cod was good good too!
The Q open sandwich also came pre-cut for easy eating ㅋ.ㅋ
With egg and bacon, it paired well with the plain tangzhong milk bread.
Que Sera, this Seokchon Lake date spot, is a great place to spend a fun time with delicious brunch. I'll have to come back for more good brunch next time!!!!
