Beomgye pasta restaurant for shrimp basil oil pasta: Two Find Peter
In short
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is a pasta, risotto and steak restaurant on the 5th floor of Park Avenue-L on Pyeongchon-daero in Anyang, Gyeonggi. Meeting up with her younger sibling, the writer ordered the set menu and added one shrimp basil oil pasta, sharing four dishes in all: sous vide pork steak, abalone innards cream risotto, spicy crab-stick pasta and the oil pasta. Slipping an oil pasta between the cream dishes kept the meal from feeling heavy, so Two Find Peter shows its strength when a group shares.

Where is Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch?
Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is a pasta specialist on the 5th floor of Park Avenue-L on Pyeongchon-daero217beon-gil. Two Find Peter has been famous as a pasta place since its Suwon days, so I looked it up to meet my sister in Beomgye for pasta.

Being on the 5th floor, it can be easy to miss, but if you spot Sambuja Hoe (raw fish restaurant), it's the building right next to it! I visited Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch when I wanted a good atmosphere for a meal in Beomgye.

With a wide variety of pasta, risotto and steak dishes, it's a great spot for ordering several things and sharing, and the clean atmosphere makes it good for dates or meals with friends too.

Which seat works best for a blind date?
At Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, the area behind the partition wall is a bit darker while the outside is brighter. If it's a blind date, I'd recommend sitting inside since it has more atmosphere.

The bread that comes before the meal is a warm dinner roll. Eaten with the pickles, it disappears in no time.

As you're eating, the main dishes come out.

This time we ordered the set menu and added one more pasta on top, so we got to taste several menu items.

Sous vide pork steak

First up, the sous vide pork steak from the set menu. Maybe because of the sous vide method, the meat itself was moist and cooked evenly through. Personally though, it wasn't melt-in-your-mouth tender — it had a slightly firm texture.

Still, I liked what came with it. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the mushrooms and vegetables paired well with the steak. Eating the fries, grilled vegetables and mushrooms alongside the meat rather than just the meat alone gave more variety in texture and better overall balance.
