Sajik-dong café for green grape ade and cream cheese financiers: CORR

Hi everyone! I went to Sajik Baseball Stadium for a game after a long while, and since I had some time to spare, I stopped by a café in Sajik-dong that's supposedly known for great financiers.

Where is CORR, and how is the parking?

CORR, the financier spot in Sajik-dong, Busan, sits near the back gate of Busan National University of Education, in the direction of Sajik Stadium.

There's a bus stop just a minute's walk away and Sajik Station isn't far either, so it's easy to reach by public transit — but CORR also has its own parking lot, so driving there is convenient too. They say the entrance ramp is a bit steep, so it's best to drive up slowly and diagonally.

CORR's drink menu covers all kinds of coffee alongside ades, signature lattes, homemade tea blends, regular teas, and seasonal specials — honestly a huge range.

CORR is especially known for its financiers, and even though we came pretty late since our game was at night, luckily there were still plenty of varieties left. They all looked so good it was genuinely hard to choose, haha.

Besides financiers, they also sell brownies, dujjonkoo (a chewy cookie), chocolate muffins, and other desserts.

CORR also carries a wide variety of teas, so even if you're not much of a coffee drinker, there are plenty of options.

Each tea comes with a description right next to it, so even if you're not sure what to pick, it's laid out clearly and helpfully.

Inside CORR: the room and the two private rooms

It's really hot outside these days, and the temperature gap with the AC indoors can give some people a cold, but CORR has blankets on hand, which was nice to use.

The interior at CORR, the financier spot in Sajik-dong, Busan, had a really nice vibe — spacious and comfortable, with all kinds of tables set up to make it a place where you can relax easily.

CORR also has two private rooms for group use, which makes it a great spot for small gatherings, study sessions, family get-togethers, or group meetups.

Overall the space is very spacious with generous gaps between tables, and the sofas in particular are so comfortable that sitting in the café was really pleasant.

The window seats are especially popular — it was a weekday and the place was still completely full, so this Sajik-dong café clearly gets a lot of love.

What we ordered: two ades and two financiers

We visited in the evening, so we ordered ades instead of coffee — and it was great that there were so many drink options beyond coffee too.

Of course we ordered the financiers we came all this way for. We were already full, but since there were two of us, we split them fairly, one each, haha.

The staff told us the clover decoration on the plain financier was actually a real four-leaf clover. Getting something like that as a little bonus felt like it might bring real luck, and I was so grateful. I tucked it safely into my phone case, haha.

And why was the little knife for cutting the financiers so cute, haha.

How did the ades and financiers taste?

We tried the ades first, and wow... it was genuinely so hot that day, but this instantly wiped out all the heat-induced irritation. Cool and refreshing, and not overly sweet, so it was just easy to drink. I actually rationed it because I was worried it would disappear too fast, haha.

They cut the financiers exactly in half so we could share — and if one side ends up even slightly smaller, that's a serious problem, so it was a very tense, high-stakes moment, haha.

We started with the cream cheese financier, and wow... this is the kind of financier you need to take home. The moment you bite in, there's a deep, rich flavor, and with the cream cheese added, the nuttiness is out of control.

I understood immediately why the plain one is the bestseller. It disappeared from my mouth so fast that it was genuinely a shame. After a fun time there, we headed off to Sajik Baseball Stadium. Great atmosphere and delicious desserts — that was my review of CORR, the café in Sajik-dong.
