Tiramisu choux at FLU:ET, a dessert café in Sajik-dong, Busan
In short
FLU:ET is a handmade choux dessert café in an alley in Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan, where the owner, a former hotel chef, makes the choux and fruit-syrup drinks himself. The order at FLU:ET — tiramisu choux, cream cheese apple choux, orange grapefruit ade and strawberry latte — came to 20,600 won as takeout, and the paper lottery board at the counter was part of the opening event. The tiramisu choux was the top pick, and the gift packaging was excellent too.

It's been unusually clear and sunny lately, and after a satisfying meal I always find myself craving something sweet and a cold drink right after. My dessert stomach and my meal stomach are scientifically (?) separate — can we all agree on that? So today I'm bringing you a visit to a gem of a dessert café tucked away in a quiet, laid-back alley in Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan — one I kind of wanted to keep to myself.

It's the handmade choux specialty shop 'FLU:ET.' If you're someone who loves that classic "crisp outside, moist inside" dessert texture, you absolutely cannot skip today's post.

It's already gaining a real reputation as a top dessert spot in Sajik-dong! 💖

Walking through the Sajik-dong alleys, a sweet, nutty smell of freshly baked bread drifts by and makes you stop in your tracks. Step into FLU:ET's clean, atmospheric storefront and the friendly owner greets you with a bright smile.

Handmade choux from a former hotel chef
The owner of FLU:ET actually used to work as a hotel chef — a genuinely serious talent. While I was picking out my order, we got to chat a bit, and it turns out the owner had a long career at a hotel before deciding to boldly chase a dream of running a place built entirely on their own philosophy and flavors, which led to opening this dessert shop.

No wonder the desserts in the display case looked so unusually high-quality — knowing they came from the care of a former top-hotel chef made me trust them even before tasting anything. 👨🍳✨
How the paper lottery board opening event works
On one side of the FLU:ET counter there's a paper lottery board event: spend over ₩10,000 or buy 2 or more desserts and you get one draw. It's literally the kind of paper lottery board you'd see at a stationery shop outside an elementary school — such a nostalgic, welcome sight.
The lineup was solid, starting with a ₩20,000 FLU:ET gift voucher for 1st place, a bottle of handmade fruit syrup for 2nd, one choux for 3rd, a pack of KBO baseball cards for 4th, and Twix chocolate for 5th. My heart racing, I carefully peeled one open... and unfortunately landed on 5th place! 😂
My dream of first place flew away, but receiving a cute little Twix as a gift still gave me a small dose of happiness, and the waiting time flew by without a dull moment. 🎁🍫
What we ordered at FLU:ET and what it cost
After much deliberation, I ordered the tiramisu choux (₩6,000), cream cheese apple choux (₩5,800), orange grapefruit ade (₩4,300), and strawberry latte (₩4,500). A total of ₩20,600 for a perfect little dose of everyday happiness.
Orange grapefruit ade, 4,300 won
Everything was packed carefully, and as soon as I got in the car, I went straight for the drinks to quench my thirst. First up was the refreshing orange grapefruit ade with its bright orange hue!

Stirring up the handmade syrup settled at the bottom, the fresh, sweet flavor of orange blended beautifully with the sharp, fragrant carbonation. It was a uniquely refined kind of refreshment you don't often find, like a magic drink that cleanly reset my palate.
Strawberry latte, 4,500 won
Next, the strawberry latte, which had a generous amount of vivid red handmade strawberry syrup sitting beneath the white milk.

Give it a good stir with the thick straw and take a sip — it's not artificial syrup sweetness but the natural, pleasant sweetness of real strawberry bits you can actually bite into, filling your mouth. It's the kind of soft, gentle flavor that everyone, regardless of age or taste, can't help but love. 🍓🥛
Cream cheese apple choux, 5,800 won
Back home, it was time to taste the main event — the choux. The cream cheese apple choux, which had the best reviews and was the one I most wanted to try, revealed a burst of pure white milk cream the moment I cracked the thin, crisp cookie shell — it looked like it might spill out like a waterfall, and I couldn't help but gasp.

Take a big bite and the soft, fluffy cream melts away instantly — not greasy or overly sweet at all, but clean with a deep milky richness. You could tell right away this came from a hotel chef's deep skill — an elegant, refined flavor. ☁️
Tiramisu choux, 6,000 won: the top pick of the day
And finally, the choux that took my top pick — the tiramisu choux! The outside was blanketed in bittersweet cocoa powder like fresh snow, and inside, rich mascarpone cream cheese and fragrant coffee cream were layered in perfect proportion.

Sweetness and bitterness danced together in my mouth in a fantastic balance — it felt like eating an entire pricey tiramisu cake from a top-tier restaurant, condensed into one bite. Paired with an iced americano, it was an absolute champion of the dessert world with nothing to envy. ☕🤎
Final verdict: is FLU:ET a good choice for gifts?
If you're looking to experience truly high-quality handmade choux and thoughtfully made drinks near Sajik-dong, Busan — not just another generic bakery — I highly recommend Sajik-dong dessert spot FLU:ET. Beyond the taste, the clean, tasteful signature packaging also makes it a great choice for gifting to loved ones or as a thank-you on special occasions. I'm already planning to come back soon to try all the other choux flavors I couldn't get to today! 🏃♀️💨
Today's lunch was a suc.cess. once again~
