Today I wanted a solo coffee break, so I visited Grid Cafe, a dessert café in Songpa I'd heard good things about. Grid Cafe is a shop where you can use the high fuel price relief subsidy (고유가 피해지원금).
Where is Grid Cafe, and what are its hours?
Grid Cafe is at 146 Macheon-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul (1st floor), 823 m from Exit 2 of Ogeum Station.
I captured the opening hours from Naver.
It opens at 9 AM and closes at 6 PM (09:00–18:00), and it's closed every Monday. Wi-Fi, takeout, delivery and simple payment are all available.
Is the inside of Grid Cafe good for coffee alone?
The inside of Grid Cafe is cute and very clean. There's a bar table by the window, so it's great for a solo coffee. I visited around 3 PM and there were lots of people enjoying their coffee.
Many customers were getting takeout, so it was crowded in front of the kiosk. It's a popular takeout café too. The owner and staff are kind and welcoming. One customer wasn't comfortable with the kiosk, and a staff member came out and did it for them!
If you go further inside, it's a bit more private. The mood is comfortable and quiet, a café where you can really rest.
Naver receipt event: salt bread rusk
Grid Cafe also runs a Naver receipt event, so I joined in. They give you a salt bread rusk, so definitely take part. The rusk is crispy and really tasty.

How do the quatre cheese ciabatta and raw bread taste?
My hot café latte and desserts arrived. The presentation gets 100 out of 100. Delicious food has zero calories! Shall we dig in?
Wow!! The fragrant quatre cheese ciabatta is chewy and so good. With the cheese inside, it's full of flavor. It's a ciabatta that goes really well with coffee.
The raw bread (saengsik-ppang, a soft, plain loaf) is ₩4,000. The price is lovely too. You can tear it apart and nibble, and with coffee it can be a whole meal.

Why is salt bread so good?! The price is kind and the taste is the best. Lots of customers were taking bread to go. Every bread is delicious, so whatever you choose is beyond what you imagine. The quality for the price is excellent.
Grid Cafe latte: you can choose your beans
At Grid Cafe you can choose your coffee beans. I picked the nutty-flavored beans and the latte turned out even nuttier. I admit this place is a latte specialist. It's rich and nutty, thumbs up.
Having a latte and healing for a while put me in a great mood. You can choose the beans, so keep that in mind.
I recommend healing with the great-value drinks and desserts at Grid Cafe, the Songpa dessert café. You'll fall for the crispiness of the salt bread and have no regrets. It's tasty and kind, so I'm 100 percent coming back. Have a great day today too^^
