Solo drinking with lemon gin at Sinnonhyeon oden bar Odeng Osaek
Odeng Osaek Gangnam Station Branch is an oden bar in Seocho, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Exit 7 of Sinnonhyeon Station, where handmade Busan fish cakes with over 90% fish content are sold piece by piece. Drinking alone at the bar counter on a weekday evening, I ordered cheese handmade oden, a shrimp dumpling skewer, gamaboko and yubu rolls with the house Odeng Osaek-ju and a bottle of Sunhari Lemon Gin (9%), and received a Taiwanese fish-shaped glass for writing a receipt review. Around 30,000 won covered snacks, drinks and a pretty glass, making Odeng Osaek a great-value spot for a night of solo drinking.
