Hongdae nail salon white glitter art for thin, small nails: Byuazeu

I went to Hongdae today to get my nails done again after a while! My nails are pretty thin so I don't get gel that often, but I figured I'd treat myself to some nail art for a change of mood.

Nail art prices vary so much from shop to shop, and the pricey places felt like too much of a stretch, so I went looking for a good-value salon and ended up here. You can book through Naver, so I reserved ahead and visited. It looked like they get booked up a lot, so I'd really recommend reserving through Naver before you go.

Where is Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare?

Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare is a 5-minute walk from Hongik University Station, so it was really accessible. I actually took the bus, and even from the bus stop it was hardly any walk at all!! It's so hot these days that even a short walk outside is rough, so the accessibility was a big plus.

Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare is on the 2nd floor! The sign was easy to spot too, so it was easy to find. There are also lots of cafés and good restaurants nearby, which was nice — you could get your nails done and then grab food or hang out at a café right after.

Inside the salon and the waiting area

Here's the inside of the shop! So clean and tidy, right?? There were drinks in the waiting area too, so I could sip something comfortably while I waited. It felt like a relaxed space to get your nails done in.

They had nail shape samples out along with tons of design options, so even if you go in without deciding anything, it'd be easy to pick something once you're there. There were just so many pretty designs prepared. The one-color options looked lovely too.

Here's the price list!!! They were also running a review event. You get ₩5,000 off for leaving a review, so definitely take part and grab that discount~~~ The prices felt reasonable overall, which was great.

August monthly art with free color changes

The top row is the August monthly art designs~~ It was great that there were so many monthly art options!!! You could really pick something that matched your own style. And the fact that color changes are free was a big plus! A lot of places charge extra for that, so being able to get any color I wanted was nice.

There were cute designs like tomatoes, and lots of summery sky-blue designs too!!!! The monthly art really seemed like good value. If you want art on the cheap, I'd definitely recommend the monthly art option! That's what I went with! Prices were listed right next to each design too, which was helpful.

Even if you don't go with the monthly art, there are so many designs prepared that you could easily go in undecided and just browse and pick there. Everything looked so pretty it was hard to choose!!! There was such a huge variety! I actually took forever to decide,,

Here's a closer look at the August monthly art!!! A lot of them had pearl details which made them even prettier! The prices are affordable too, so you can get art nails at good value~~ Color changes are free, so you can just pick the design you like and choose whatever color you want for it. They seem to run on a reservation system, so I'd really recommend booking through Naver before visiting~~ Slots usually looked pretty full!!!

Smaller parts for small nails, finished in 40 minutes

Here are the after photos~~ Isn't it so pretty!!! The nail artist was so fast with her hands that it was done in about 40 minutes!!!

I loved the glitter, and since my nails are on the small side, she said the parts from the original monthly art design would be too big and swapped them for similar but smaller ones — I loved that too!!! She recommended things that would suit me without me even asking, and it was such a comfortable experience the whole time!

Best of all, it was fast!! Saved time and I loved the result — best of both worlds. I like white nails and this really hit the spot!!! It had been a while since my last nail appointment, and I'm so glad it turned out this pretty. She was so kind and quick with her hands!!! If you want pretty nails at a reasonable price in Hongdae, I'd recommend Byuazeu!!!!

Is Byuazeu Hongdae worth a visit?

The prices were affordable and the artist worked so fast that I got exactly the design I wanted in a short time — loved it! The monthly art designs are pretty and cheap too, so if you like parts or glitter, I'd recommend going with the monthly art!

You can also get a free color change, so you can get whatever color you want. Even if you go without picking a design, there are so many ready-made options that you can just choose once you're there. The staff were kind and the space was comfortable, so it was a genuinely relaxing visit~~ If you're looking for a good-value nail salon, I'd recommend this one.
