What is Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch like?

Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch (러스틱스모크하우스 용인보정점) is an American BBQ restaurant on the Bojeong-dong café street. The Korean name might look tricky, but that's just because it's an English name, hehe. In English it's RUSTIC SMOKE HOUSE! You get a strong American vibe right from the entrance, haha.

It's open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and it's closed every Monday, haha. The menu runs from brunch to pasta, steak and BBQ!! Haha.

Is parking easy on the Bojeong-dong café street?

Parking is convenient because there's a large parking area in front of the restaurant. It's slightly off the main street of the Bojeong-dong café street, so maybe that's why it's a bit quieter, and the easy parking is a real plus, haha.

Is it okay to go with a child?

We booked ahead and went with our child, and the staff had a reserved table ready along with child tableware~ The interior feels sooo much like being in America, hehe. I love this kind of atmosphere >< You can also take a photo in the big mirror at the entrance :) There's a roulette event for birthdays too, so a birthday visit could be fun, hehe.

There are even hats on the wall like you'd see in West Texas, and the interior is just so cool, haha.

Rustic Smokehouse menu and break time

According to the menu, opening hours are 11:00 to 21:30, and break time is 15:00–17:00! You'll see lots of platter sets on the menu. Platters to share with a group seemed to be popular, haha.

What did we order?

After much debate, I ordered the baby back ribs from the BBQ single plate as the main, and added truffle cream risotto to share plus chili shrimp tacos (2 pcs) as a side, haha. For drinks, we got draft beer (Terra draft, 500ml) and orange juice, haha.

At the self-bar you can pick up simple condiments, tissues, plates and so on~

How was the truffle cream risotto?

The truffle cream risotto at Rustic Smokehouse has a super rich cream sauce, and it goes so well with the garlic and mushroom toppings~~~~ The food came out dish by dish, and honestly I didn't expect much from the truffle cream risotto, but it was really, really good!! Haha. And it went so well with the ribs we ordered too!!

Baby back rib BBQ and what comes with it

BBQ dishes at Rustic Smokehouse come with 3 butter rolls, fries, coleslaw and BBQ sauce as standard. The baby back ribs were seasoned so well and grilled so nicely that I'm already craving them!!

Wrapping the ribs in the bread on the side was delicious, and eating the ribs on their own was great too!! Haha. The coleslaw is good too~~~~

I cut the ribs into tempting pieces and enjoyed every bite~~

Are the shrimp tacos worth ordering?

The shrimp tacos at Rustic Smokehouse are packed with toppings, and the sour cream and sauce are sooo good, haha. Everything was so tasty that I added the shrimp tacos on top~~ You can see just by looking how loaded they are!!

Is Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch worth a return visit?

Personally, it was one of the best things I've eaten on the Bojeong-dong café street~~ The risotto is great and I think I'll be craving the BBQ ribs later, haha. It's off to the side of the café street, so maybe word hasn't spread, but if you want to try American BBQ, I recommend Rustic Smokehouse Yongin Bojeong Branch!!
