Beomgye restaurant for a moms' group lunch for three: Two Find Peter

Chatting comfortably over good food is something moms really need sometimes :) A few days ago I went to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch with two other moms I know through my kid's kindergarten. The atmosphere was great and every dish we ordered was delicious, so the three of us had a really lovely time.

Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is a Western restaurant on the 5th floor of Park Avenue on Pyeongchon-daero 217beon-gil. This time I had lunch with two moms I met through my kid's kindergarten, and eating together like this has its own special joy. Talking about the kids and about everyday life felt even better in front of good food.

Two Find Peter, where we went this time, had such a nice atmosphere that our meal was that much more enjoyable.

Delicious food matters, but when you're eating with someone, the atmosphere of the space stays with you too. This visit satisfied on both counts.

The three dishes the three of us ordered

The three of us ordered two pastas and one risotto at Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch.

• Whole squid ink risotto
• Abalone innards cream pasta

Each dish had its own personality, so laid out together the table looked even more appetizing. The shrimp pasta with its eye-catching red sauce, the risotto with squid piled on black squid ink, and the abalone innards cream pasta with its unusual color from the start — putting all three in one photo really captured how full and generous the table felt that day. Visiting with a group like this means you get to try such a variety of dishes, which is one of the perks :)

Hot shrimp garlic pasta — quite spicy

First up is the hot shrimp garlic pasta. The noodles mingled with red sauce and the big, plump shrimp looked delicious. The cheese and green topping on top made the plate look even more appealing. It was a dish that caught my eye from the name alone, and the taste didn't disappoint either — I ate it happily.

I twirled the pasta and took bites of the other dishes too, enjoying a bit of everything. It's also quite spicy, so if you want something with a bit of kick instead of just rich, heavy dishes, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Whole squid ink risotto — for when you want to add a rice dish

The whole squid ink risotto definitely had presence on the table. A big piece of squid sat on top of the black squid ink risotto, topped with cheese. The contrast between the black risotto, the squid, and the bright cheese made it a dish that caught the eye even in photos.

It wasn't just good to look at — the taste was really good too. Adding this risotto alongside the two pastas made the overall lineup feel much more varied. It struck me as a great choice for when you want both pasta and a rice dish.

Abalone innards cream pasta — a sauce color unlike the rest

Next is the abalone innards cream pasta. Being a cream pasta made with abalone innards, I was curious what it would taste like. Its sauce color was different from a typical white cream pasta from the start. The generous sauce on the wide plate made the noodles look all the more appetizing.

With the cheese and toppings on top, looking back at the photo now, it's a visual that stays with you. This dish was also delicious. You might expect one out of three to be a letdown, but that day every dish we ordered was tasty, which made the whole menu selection satisfying :)
