It dissolves well even in cold water, making it nice and light for breakfast; warmed up, it also works well almost like porridge.
What comes with Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Oat Drink Unsweet

Mine arrived by courier, and this is what comes in it.
You get three things: 500g of powdered oat drink, a dedicated scoop, and an instruction leaflet.

The drink comes in a resealable zip pouch, so it is convenient to use. They say it is a fresh, milky oat powder made by grinding whole oats, including the husks, from pristine Canada.
Mix 2 scoops, or 30g, thoroughly into 180ml of water. It goes well both cold and hot.
Look at that clean ingredient list. It contains just oats (Canada) 99.6% and sea salt 0.4%.

Shall we check the nutrition information too? It is based on one 30g serving: dietary fiber 19%, protein 7%, carbohydrates 6%, fat 4%, and sugars 0%. Since it includes the whole oat husk, they say you can get beta-glucan, a key nutrient in oats, along with plenty of dietary fiber.
Seeing all that dietary fiber, it might help those of you who have bathroom concerns haha.

Most of all, it is said to be a healthy convenience food with a 100% plant-based protein base, using whole natural ingredients rather than synthetic additives.

No matter how healthy something is, you should check the best-before date, right? You can have it for up to one year from the manufacturing date, and children from age one can drink it. Store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

The directions are kindly laid out too, so let’s try it already.
How I made the oat drink with cold water

It really is such a simple way to drink it. First, I prepared 180ml of cold water.

Using the dedicated scoop, add two level scoops rather than heaped ones.

It did seem like a lot, but I trusted the process. After trying it, I think 200ml would work fine too.

I have been heading out early every morning lately to learn something, and while wondering what would make a simple breakfast substitute, I was glad to discover this oat drink: healthy and convenient at once.

Just add two scoops and give it a quick stir—that is it. I had never even tried oatmeal because I heard you need to soak it the night before for it to soften properly. Getting ready to leave in the morning is busy enough, so having to prepare from the previous day felt like a burden.
But with this, you simply add water and can have a fresh oat drink right away, so it is perfect for busy mornings. Taste-wise, it has a wholesome flavor focused on the natural nuttiness of oats. I tend to avoid milk in the morning because I worry my stomach will start gurgling on the commute, but one glass of this leaves me feeling at ease haha.
And there are absolutely no additives—just oats and sea salt!! The oat drink I picked is Unsweet, so it has not even a hint of sweetness. I think it would be good for people who dislike sweet things and for anyone dieting.
With powdered drinks like this, there can sometimes be a stale smell or a chalky feeling that lingers in your mouth, but there was none of that at all. I also liked that it was richer than a ready-to-drink liquid oat beverage. Liquid packs can be heavy to carry and make you worry about leaks, whereas I can put two scoops in a tumbler before leaving, then just add water, so it is easy to take along.
If you are interested in health these days, try getting your dietary fiber and protein easily with Garuseonsaeng Seoritae Oat Drink. It is sugar-free too, so there is no need to worry about sugars!!
