Starting with PART 1, it honestly felt scary because I thought this could happen to Edding and Shwan, too, as newlyweds.

Imagine saving diligently for four or five years to get married and move into a jeonse home, only to face the bolt-from-the-blue situation of not being able to get your deposit back later... How devastating would that be?

Not to mention the helplessness and stress... The book shows what happens afterward, and I realized that this is not a problem solved simply by doing the real-estate contract right.

I meant to read only halfway through PART 1, but before I knew it, I had read an entire chapter...!! I was so absorbed that I completely lost track of time!

And! When you go to look at a property later, make sure—!!—to bring a family member or acquaintance along! And do not rush into a preliminary contract!! It also teaches basic things that are easy to overlook on site, so there was so much I needed to store away in my head!
