I usually read quite often, but once I started preparing for the wedding, I suddenly got so busy that I actually read less, you know.. One thing my partner and I had talked about even before getting married was that we should study real estate diligently.

For a while, I had been using being busy as an excuse and not doing it, but now that the wedding ceremony is all over and life has become a little more relaxed, I felt it was time to start reading again.

When we looked for a home after getting married, my partner looked into absolutely everything, so I was starting from a place of having barely even the most basic knowledge. It really made me think that I need to know these things now.

Personally, I watch a lot of YouTube when studying real estate too. Since books can contain information that is a little old, I tend to watch videos because I want to study the most up-to-date material. But with a book, I can go slowly at my own pace, and reread any part I want as many times as I like, which is what makes books especially appealing.

I had first come across Deokbang Research Institute’s content on YouTube, so I was curious when I heard it had also come out as a book. This time, I got the book ready and read it with lots of anticipation.

At first, I wondered whether it might feel unfamiliar and worried that it would be difficult. But it was written so kindly, as though someone were explaining every point one by one, that it was not hard to understand while reading.

There had already been so many issues involving jeonse scams in the news lately that I felt I really could not afford not to know. If you do not know, there are bound to be things you miss even more easily.

Economic matters like these are truly things we need to understand well. I feel like I have become a little less of a complete beginner at finding a home! I have only just started studying real estate and still do not know much, so I will keep studying steadily, little by little.

It was a book I liked because it was written so kindly, with examples, as though it were explaining things right beside even a beginner, making it easier to understand.
