A large bakery café in Gomo-ri, Pocheon

Geurine Oasis is a large bakery café in Gomo-ri, Soheul-eup, Pocheon. Since pets are welcome, lots of people had come with their dogs~ There are seats in the main building, annex, outdoors, and on the rooftop, so just pick the spot you like. Gomo Reservoir is huge right out front; people even pass by in boats, and with the fountain shooting up, it really feels as if an oasis is right in front of you~

The outdoor space is huge too, and because the weather was lovely, lots of people had settled outside~ I wanted to go outdoors too, but there were no seats, so I sat inside instead. Still, I thought this was such a great place to spend time water-gazing or fire-gazing :p Even in the shade, Pocheon was cool—it has fully slipped into autumn weather^^

How was the peach iced tea?

The peach iced tea was a cool, sweet drink filled with ice. The cups Geurine Oasis uses are so pretty that I wondered whether they were takeaway-only cups~ That all-pink look is absolutely adorable :p

I ordered the peppermint iced too, and it was cool and refreshing—I just kept sipping away~ Drinking from such a pretty cup somehow made it taste even better!?

The last remaining ang-butter salt bread

There was only one ang-butter salt bread left, so I ordered it quickly. There were so many people that the bakery items disappeared fast, and I was worried I might not get any bread, haha. It was an impossibly good salt bread, packed with butter and sweet red bean paste—there's no way it could taste bad~ Even my child said it was delicious and ate it so well^^

A place to remember for an autumn drive

Geurine Oasis is even better in fall 🏝 Surrounded by trees and the reservoir, Geurine Oasis is a beautiful place where you can fully enjoy the natural scenery. There is a Twosome Place next door, but it has no outdoor space and is all indoors, so it would definitely feel a little disappointing in fall~ Remember Geurine Oasis when you want to take a drive near Seoul and enjoy autumn to the fullest^^
