I've been obsessed with bagels lately, so while looking for a good spot I found Orange Bagel. It has a wide variety of bagels and a pretty big space, so it looked good to visit with a baby too.

Parking at Orange Bagel: a wide lot in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon

Orange Bagel is located at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the parking lot is generously sized. I tend to prefer places with easy parking, and this one already won me over just for that, haha. When you're heading out somewhere with a baby, parking matters way more than you'd think.

When a parking lot is cramped or awkward, it's hard to go back no matter how good the food is, but Orange Bagel's roomy lot made it easy to visit by car. Especially for someone who's stressed about parking even for a quick bagel run... that's me!

So if you're looking for a bakery café in Suwon with easy parking, this is a pretty big plus.

Three floors of seating inside Orange Bagel

Orange Bagel uses floors 1 through 3 as café space, so it's a fairly large operation. The moment I walked in, I realized it was bigger than expected — oh, this isn't just a grab-and-go bagel shop. And the toasty bagel smell drifting through the air was more than enough to get my appetite going...

True to the name Orange Bagel, the orange latte caught my eye so I ordered it — the name alone made it feel like something you have to try here, haha. The Americano was, of course, my husband's pick..! Since it's summer, they were also selling patbingsu (shaved ice), topped generously with red bean.

Goods corner, including Suwon Samsung Bluewings items

Inside Orange Bagel, they also sell various goods. I thought it was just a bagel-and-coffee place, but there's plenty to browse, which was a nice surprise.

You could also spot goods related to Suwon Samsung Bluewings, which is inseparable from Suwon. If you like football, you might come for bagels and end up browsing the goods corner too, haha. My husband, who loves football, headed straight for the goods section as soon as we arrived.

Free drink or bagel chips for a Naver receipt review

Orange Bagel was running an event where you get a free drink or bagel chips for writing a receipt review. Can you just skip that? No way. That said, the review event details might change depending on the season, so it's worth checking with staff when you visit.

Wine and beer on the Orange Bagel menu

Uniquely, this large Suwon café also sells wine and beer. So you could come for coffee and bagels in the daytime, then come back in the evening for a light beer or wine. It felt less like a bakery you just grab bread from and more like a large Suwon café where you can settle in for a while.

Cream cheese choices to go with the bagels

Orange Bagel has a variety of cream cheeses to pair with the bagels. A bagel without cream cheese would be seriously disappointing...

There are quite a few cream cheese options, so it's fun to try one with each different bagel.

How many bagel flavors does Orange Bagel bake?

Orange Bagel's bagel lineup was far more varied than I expected. From basics like plain bagels to ones loaded with various ingredients, there's something to pick based on your taste.

On your first visit, there are so many kinds you might have trouble deciding, haha. Should I get this one..? Or that one..? I agonized over it. We arrived around 2pm on a weekday, but since it's so popular, a lot of bagels were already down to just a few left.

I was debating the signature scallion cream cheese bagel, but I wanted to try something a bit different, so I reluctantly looked elsewhere. Now I'm regretting it with tears — should've just bought one anyway.

If you like bagels, there's real fun in browsing and choosing one by one. Personally, I think it's worth a visit at least once if you're looking for a great bagel spot in Suwon.

Why the laugen butter bagel sells out fastest

The popular laugen butter bagel case

And of everything I tried that day, my personal favorite was the laugen butter bagel. With a name like that, it can't not be delicious... If asked to recommend just one bagel, I'd pick the laugen butter.

Gift box packaging when you buy 4 bagels

Orange Bagel offers gift packaging if you buy multiple bagels. Bagels are the kind of food you'd rather buy a few different types of instead of just one, so getting around 4 and having them wrapped in a gift box could make a nice simple snack present.

The oven for reheating bagels on site

Orange Bagel also has a separate oven dedicated just to bagels. Note that bagels with chocolate or butter fillings can't be used in it — worth keeping in mind!

American-style interior at Orange Bagel

I quite liked the interior at Orange Bagel too. It has a strong American café feel overall, making it a good spot for photos.

Rather than feeling overly decorated, the little props and goods scattered around make browsing genuinely fun.

When I go to a café, food matters, but I also care quite a lot about atmosphere — here the bagels and the space's vibe matched well, making it good for photos too.

Orange Bagel's second-floor seating with a glass ceiling

We picked a seat on the second floor, where the ceiling is glass! A sudden shower happened to fall just then, and we enjoyed our bagels and coffee while listening to the rain.

What was ordered on this visit and what it cost

  • Iced Americano ₩5,500
  • Laugen butter ₩6,900
  • Egg mayo ₩8,500
  • Potato ₩6,900
Three bagels and two drinks on the table

There were too many bagel types to pick just one, so we ended up grabbing a bunch of everything, haha.

First look at the bagels at the glass-ceiling 2F table

Cross-section of the laugen butter bagel

Whew, every bagel had impressive looks and taste, but the one that stayed with me most was the laugen butter bagel. The sweet-salty flavor combined with the buttery richness made it perfect with coffee.

Egg mayo bagel: salty bacon with fluffy egg

The egg mayo bagel is ₩8,500, and it's clearly generously filled, so I'd recommend it if you want a hearty brunch-style bite. The saltiness of the bacon and the softness of the egg mayo make an unbeatable combo...

Potato bagel packed with potato filling

If you want that salty flavor with fluffy potato texture, the potato bagel comes fully recommended... Both the looks and the taste are massive.

A potato bagel topped with potato chips

The potato chips on top are another highlight! The amount of potato packed inside is also substantial, so even half filled me up.

Laugen butter bagel, the best bite of the day

Among all of them, the one that stuck with me most was still the laugen butter bagel. The buttery flavor inside is genuinely insane. Even my husband, who's not a fan of rich food, took one bite and raved that the laugen bagel was the best of the bunch.

With butter used generously, the buttery aroma is intense and the sweet-salty flavor carries that buttery richness... and coffee. This right here is America. If I come back again, the laugen bagel is the first thing I'll grab...

Is Orange Bagel an easy café to visit with a baby?
