It's been a while since I had a hair salon sponsorship, so I walked over 20 minutes before my appointment time and

It was the day before the Chuseok holiday so there were a lot of customers, and since it wasn't quite my appointment time yet I waited a bit, then

After putting on the salon gown, I walked into Moen.D Hair, a Gamil-dong salon done in white-toned interiors with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows — it felt incredibly open.

Before the layered cut: the salt shampoo step

The hair treatments I received at the salon were a layered cut and a head spa — here's what I looked like beforehand, don't I look like a ghost from a horror movie❓ haha

She scrubbed my scalp refreshingly with a salt shampoo meant to remove impurities,

Back in the chair after the layered cut, let me walk you through the head spa I got using Ayounche products

After the layered cut, the hair treatment I received was a scalp spa — first, Designer Hajin applied a scalp peeling product and massaged it in by hand,

Next, moisture was worked deep into the scalp, and while I waited about 10 minutes for it to absorb —

Back at the Moen.D Hair shampoo room, I got a complimentary Ayounche treatment too, then came out and — because I have thick, long hair — they dried it with not one but two blow-dryers,

Usually other salons just blow-dry and call it done, but since my hair is so curly they straightened it fully with a flat iron,
