Truffle mushroom burger and chili cheese fries with refills: Daily Fix

Daily Fix, a burger spot near Seoul National University Entrance Station — where is it?

After a morning run, I was hungry in the late afternoon and wanted something light, so I went looking around and found a burger restaurant called "Daily Fix"! 🍔

It's just a short walk from Exit 2 of Seoul National University Entrance Station — right before the entrance to Sharosu-gil. Such a great location, right? As a resident of the area, of course I had to check it out >.<

The moment I walked in, the smell of burgers hit me... I was drooling so hard ㅠ. Turns out it's a Michelin-praised burger spot that Kang Min-kyung raved about on her food show! It apparently came in 2nd place at the Korea Burger Championship, losing by just 0.02 points. The chefs reportedly come from two-Michelin-star restaurants in New York. You know I can't resist a Michelin mention, right ㅠ. My expectations were sky-high going in.

The interior was really clean, and there were trees right outside making it look nice and green — perfect for eating in weather like this. 🌿 So refreshing.

There were also a lot of solo-dining seats, so I thought this would be a great place to come back and eat alone next time! I'm not great at eating solo, but when a spot is so obviously set up for it, it feels totally doable... haha. I could already picture myself zoning out watching people pass by outside while enjoying my meal ෆ

What we ordered and the table ordering system

Looking at the menu, the prices were pretty reasonable, and everything looked delicious, so it took me forever to decide... In the end I went with the menu items Kang Min-kyung raved about: bacon cheese burger, truffle mushroom burger, chili cheese fries, and a zero-calorie cola (the classic combo for a clear conscience)!

You order and pay right at your table, so there's no need to go up front and wait to pay — it was quick and easy ㅋㅅㅋ. Meaning this is a great spot for even the most introverted solo diner! Besides us, two more solo diners came in at other tables later (one of them was actually a foreigner).

The food came out fast! The visuals were insane ㅜ. The smell was insane too ㅜ. Get in my mouth right now; I got the truffle mushroom burger, my boyfriend got the bacon cheese burger, and if we both went quiet for a moment, that's not just my imagination (it's actually true). Ridiculously good💖💦. It had been a while since I had a proper handmade burger, and this reminded me why I love them so much ㅠ.

That thin black line in the photo might not look like much, but that's truffle right there — a precious little line 🖤. The cream inside was amazing too. And the patty was thick with juice bursting out 🥲. The second I took a bite I shouted "whoa, this is so good ㅠ" and my boyfriend and I kept gasping over and over.

My boyfriend gave me a bite of his bacon cheese burger too, and the juiciness was insane❤️. It stays true to the basics but goes beyond them ㅜㅜ. The patty needs no explanation, and since the bacon is handmade, it has a depth of flavor that's totally different from the store-bought stuff. Honestly, not a single weak player in this lineup ㅠ.

The chili cheese fries... am I in America right now, this exotic flavor combo ♡. Plain fries can be a bit boring on their own, but with cheese and chili sauce on top, plus minced meat piled on — for a second I felt like I was actually in the US 🇺🇸.

Taking a bite of chili cheese fries as a palate cleanser between burger bites, then a sip of cola, gives you the energy to keep going 🥺. And they even give you a "refill" on the drink... is that not the best? 🥤♡ 🍔 ♡ 🍟 an unbeatable combo💦

Customers kept coming even at 4pm, great for solo diners and dates alike

My boyfriend and I both cleaned our plates in just 10 minutes^^... After saying "wow this is good" about five times each, everything was gone ㅠ. We joked, why did we even bother running this morning if we were just going to eat like this, and left the place in a great mood!

Even though it was already close to 4pm when we visited, people kept coming in, so it seems like it's already gotten a reputation as a great restaurant. Was I just too late to the trend ㅠ.

Total recommendation, super recommend..! Daily Fix is great whether you're eating solo or coming with company — I highly recommend it 🫧🤍. If you want a delicious burger with a touch of Michelin flair, definitely pay a visit 🌟
