Ilsan Bamridan-gil tonkatsu restaurant with kids: hirekatsu, Kitsuki
In short
Kitsuki Ilsan Bamridan-gil Branch is an aged tonkatsu restaurant on Sandu-ro in Goyang, Gyeonggi. Booking through Naver Reservation and visiting with a child, the writer ordered hirekatsu (pork loin fillet katsu), one piece of cheese katsu, perilla cream udon and mala udong for a total of 50,000 won, and the owner brought out seaweed and tableware for the child. Kitsuki is pet-friendly too, making it an easy Bamridan-gil restaurant for families with preschoolers.

Kitsuki is a hugely popular restaurant on Ilsan's Bamridan-gil known for its premium aged tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet). If you're looking for an upscale spot on Bamridan-gil where kids can eat well too, I'd recommend Kitsuki Ilsan Bamridan-gil Branch.

Book on Naver Reservation and walk straight in
Kitsuki takes table reservations for 1 to 6 people. I booked ahead through Naver Reservation for my preferred time and visited. There was no wait at all — once they confirmed my reservation, I was seated right away, so the whole meal moved quickly!
A mix of vintage furniture and music gives the place a stylish, sophisticated feel — perfect for a meal with family, a partner, or friends, and definitely somewhere I'd recommend for a special occasion.

What we ordered at Kitsuki and what it cost: 50,000 won
There's tonkatsu and a range of udon (thick wheat noodle) dishes on the menu. They recommended the perilla cream udon, so I gave it a try!!
- Hirekatsu ₩14,000
- Perilla cream udon ₩13,000
- Mala udong ₩15,000
- Cheese katsu (1 piece) ₩6,000
- Cider (Korean soda) ₩2,000
- Total ₩50,000

A table full of Kitsuki's dishes — curious about more than just the tonkatsu, I also tried their signature udon!!
Hirekatsu, 14,000 won

Kitsuki's tenderloin hirekatsu (fillet cutlet) uses premium Berkshire K black pork from Jirisan, a mere 1.2% of all pork raised in Korea. It's on a completely different level from regular pork — the juiciness and umami were incredible. Personally, I preferred it dipped lightly in salt with rice rather than tonkatsu sauce!!! I always order hirekatsu whenever I go to a tonkatsu place, and out of all the ones I've tried, this ranks among the most tender, with juices bursting out — I kept eating even after I was full.
Eating with a child: cheese katsu, 1 piece for 6,000 won

Since I visited with a child, I also ordered the cheese katsu, a menu item aimed at kids. My child doesn't eat much, but one piece was already large enough to be plenty, and the amount of cheese was incredible.

Since we came with a child, the owner was kind enough to bring out seaweed that would be easy for my child to eat, ㅠㅠ along with dishes and side tableware suited to a preschooler. It made the visit with a young child so much easier, and best of all the food was delicious — I'd definitely recommend it for a family visit.
Perilla cream udon, 13,000 won

One of Kitsuki's signature dishes, the perilla cream udon. Thick, rich cream fully coating the chewy udon noodles — genuinely delicious. It pairs really well with the tonkatsu too, so if you're visiting with a group, I'd definitely recommend ordering the cream udon alongside the katsu!
Mala udong, 15,000 won

A Chinese-style mixed udon: house-made noodles topped with seasoned meat, assorted vegetables, and hot poured oil!! As the spicy aroma spreads, the rich, hearty meat piled on top makes this a must-order if you're into mala (numbing spicy) flavors — it'll absolutely hit the spot.
Kitsuki as a pet-friendly place to eat in Bamgasi
Every dish at Kitsuki is vacuum-aged for 300 painstaking hours to bring out its best possible flavor. If you want tonkatsu that melts in your mouth with deep, aged flavor, and udon that's genuinely special, I'd recommend Kitsuki on Bamridan-gil. Pet-friendly too — so if you want a good meal with your pet and are looking for a pet-friendly spot in Bamgasi, give Kitsuki Ilsan Bamridan-gil Branch a try!
